Blu 105 - Gulf-front condo with pools and seasonal beach service in a gated community

Condo was clean when we checked in. Previous comments stated the kitchen lacked cooking utensils and dryer struggled to dry which were both true. The kitchen lacked cooking supplies for renters wanting to cook/eat their meals at the condo. We only cooked scrambled eggs for breakfast at the condo and that was fine and typically ate leftovers or sandwiches for lunch than dinner out. There was a single oven hot pad for use if using the oven. Kitchen supplies could use some more cooking supplies. The dryer still struggled to dry loads. Recommend VACASA hiring a professional dryer vent cleaner to clean entire dryer vent to see if improves airflow and drying times. Being on the first floor was perfect for us walking right onto pool deck. Would rent the condo again as it worked for us with plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids.

This condo overall is good. 1st floor. Vacasa has made a few improvements in overall service by adding hand soaps, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Really wish they would allow discounts for repeat customers like former management (Wyndham, Abbott Resorts and Abbott Realty) or some sort of customer appreciation point system. The condo has excellent water pressure in the shower. Past reviews state fitted sheets will not stay on the bed, very very poorly stocked kitchen, slow oven (cook times almost have to be doubled), slow dryer, and wifi issues..... but none of these issues have been addressed/fixed. This condo would be 5 stars if those issues could be addressed. One note, the condo floor was very dirty. Our feet were black just from 1 hour of walking around barefooted while unloading our items. This was reported and vacasa offered to come and mop. The bunk beds had no pillows. This was also addressed and pillows were brought to us Beach service (Jack) was great!

Great location

This condo is on the first floor with personal access to the pool. It made it extremely convenient to go to the pool and beach. One story up and close to stair well and trash chute. Condo has an ice maker, another huge convenience. It was spacious and updated, and very accommodating for two families. Biggest minus: Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, which was an issue for the kids. Poor quality pans in the kitchen. Bring your own just in case, which is inconvenient for us travelers. We would rent again but things to note for next time: Bring more usb plug ins, bring hand soap (VACASA expectation was to use body wash from shower for each bathroom sink), bring own beach towel, condo has coffee pot and keurig (keurig was the unknown), there’s no leftover spices from prior guests vs what’s experienced at other Airbnb/rentals (bring everything you want/need)

The property was great. The unit was very spacious for a large family. Thankfully, we ate out every meal because the unit is not stocked well for the amount of bedrooms and people that it sleeps. The owners definitely need to invest in cookware. Also the furniture needs to have a deep cleaning and the rug needs to be replaced or cleaned as it was very dirty
