The house has a lot going for it. It was very clean when we arrived, the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with cookware and utensils, and it was an easy, pleasant walk to the beach. If you plan on cooking during your stay, you’ll appreciate how well equipped the kitchen is. There were a few minor drawbacks. The stairs are fairly steep, which could be a concern for families with small children or anyone with mobility issues. Some of the bathroom fixtures are also showing their age, though everything was functional. The biggest disappointments were the grill and the air conditioning. We bought groceries specifically to grill dinner, only to discover the outdoor grill didn’t work. More importantly, on our last full day the upstairs air conditioning, where all of the bedrooms are located, stopped working completely. We followed the instructions posted at the thermostat by turning the AC off and running only the fan for about two and a half hours, but it never recovered. We had even kept the thermostat at 73°F, despite the note asking guests not to set it below 72°F. The upstairs remained far too warm to sleep, and I ended up sleeping downstairs on the couch. If the grill is repaired and the HVAC issue is resolved, I would gladly consider staying here again because the location, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen made for an otherwise enjoyable stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at 126! It had everything we needed. Yhe kitchen was shocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The appliances were new and worked great. The beds were comfortable, the master bathroom was BEAUTIFUL, the living room was plenty big with enough room for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen table was big. They had several puzzles to choose from fir a rainy day. Good parking and close to beach. We will be back to 126!

There’s was pretty much everything we needed in the home, including beach toys as well.

The amenities were not as extensive as some other places we have stayed (no beach equipment, outside shower was not private), but these were minor details. Easy short walk to the beach, beds were comfortable, and furnishings were adequate for our needs.

Loved how stocked the kitchen was with dishes, Tupperware and kitchen tools. The balconies off of every room were wonderful. We were very nervous with an 18 month old there because of the stairs (there are two pretty high staircases inside and one outside) but due to my poor planning we didn’t bring gates. I was happy to find one stashed in the utility closet which helped save the day. I would recommend to the owners to have a gate installed on the bottom deck outside for pets/kids and also having a couple of sturdy gates stashed for inside. Or, if you’re planning on staying here be sure to be more mindful than I was when packing! The one there was great but was a little flimsy. Still so grateful for it! Overall it was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it! We would book here again for sure, very comfortable. Thank you for having us!
