Clean, crisp colors and welcoming beach decor welcome guests as they walk through the door of this spacious home. Just be sure to shower off the sand in the outdoor shower before coming inside! Four ceiling fans (including one in each bedroom) and central air conditioning will help keep everyone comfortable inside. Put together up a lovely meal in the fully equipped kitchen, set up with an open design so that everyone at the breakfast bar, dining area, and living room can participate in the conversation. Outside, guests can fire up the private gas grill and cook up some freshly caught fish. The private washer/dryer will take care of all the swimsuits while everything's grilling up! The screened-in porch will be the perfect place for everyone to relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. What's nearby: The beach is just under half a mile away, and it's easy to walk through the residential streets! All beaches in Mexico Beach are public property. Enjoy white sandy beaches in both directions, and be sure to pick up some delicious seafood at Mango Marley's and Killer Seafood to enjoy on the shore (both within just two miles of this home). Charisma Charters, just under three miles away, will help guests get out onto the water and pulling up some delicious grouper, pompano, Spanish mackerel, and more! This was our second time staying at Knot a Care, and we had another wonderful vacation! The house is clean, cozy, and feels like a home away from home. Our favorite place to relax is the screened-in porch—it’s perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The location is excellent, and you can even see the 3rd Street boardwalk entrance from the yard, making beach trips incredibly convenient. We noticed the owner has added new couches and an adorable dolphin coffee table since our last stay, which were nice updates. Most of the other furniture was the same as when we visited two years ago. There is some normal wear and tear throughout the home, such as scuff marks on the wall behind the yellow chairs where they've bumped into it, a small hole in the screened porch door (likely from someone trying to stop it from closing), and the porch cushions are showing their age. None of these things affected our stay, but they are worth mentioning. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we appreciated having both a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig machine. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay at Knot a Care again!
