Great house and great location! Enjoyed being able to walk into Rosemary and Alys Beach without moving our cars!

This was a great house for relaxing. The three levels made it very spacious with enough privacy when needed. The proximity to the pool was ideal.

The property was a rental through and through. Looks super nice when you get there and then realize it’s barely hanging on. Almost all of the towel holders fell when you touched them or not even on from the start. The bunk bed in the closet room to entrance was so wobbly I was scared to put more than 30lbs on the top and wouldn’t let our kids sleep in it for fear of safety. The floors were so dirty and we had to go buy a broom because one wasn’t provided in the stay. The location to the pool was amazing but the pool was a stickler for rules. We had a water in the pool and they told us we couldn’t have drinks unless we were in a pool chair. Also the beach was a joke. It was more parked than spring break 09 in Panama City. They set out 4 rows of chairs that you can pay $100 a day or 2 chairs and they had the smallest area for people to set up their own chairs. We went the first week in June and were so fed up we just drove to inlet beach instead. Also the area to no wheels which wasn’t in listing so no bikes, wagons or golf carts to the beach.

The house itself is beautiful and in a great location. The floor plan worked perfectly for our group. However, we found hairs on the sheets, our feet were black from walking on the floors, the couch on the second floor was dirty and there was so much trash under the couch. There was a hole in the bathroom wall from where it looked like the toilet paper holder was ripped out. Someone did call and clean the couch and change the sheets which was awesome but it left our couch soaking wet to where we couldn’t sit for 24 hrs. Lastly, there was an undisclosed secret room on the top floor that we didn’t know about until the second night when we noticed a light on that wasn’t on the first night. In this room there were unmade beds and it was just creepy.

Our group of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids aged 2-13) had a great week long stay. We always rely on personal reviews before we book, so leaving our honest review for others: PROS: -Excellent location to easily walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We only used the tram once to the beach and more for the experience as it's a quick and easy 5 minute walk. -Convenience of the pool off the back deck was amazing and our favorite part. Very easy to head in for nap time, lunch, a break, etc. This was one of our favorite parts of the rental and made us look over some of the other issues more easily. -The pool area is very well maintained and staff very friendly. -The food at the cafe in the pool area was very good! -The home layout was well suited for a group our size -Check in was easy and smooth; we were offered a 2pm late checkout for a nominal fee that was worth it due to our late flight time CONS: -This home suited our needs but was in need of maintenance. Several broken door handles (one prevented use of the third floor balcony for the entire stay), a broken dresser drawer that made it unusable, malfunctioning microwave, and one bunk bed that was too wobbly to allow someone to sleep on top safely. The living room rug and couch were comfortable but in need of professional cleaning. -Guest services (Vacasa) was quick to acknowledge our issues via the text system, and said they would send someone from maintenance, but did not actually come to repair the issues during our stay (doorknobs, microwave, etc). -The bedding was very bare bones. Each bed had a sheet, a very thin "blanket" and a "comforter" that was about as thick as a sheet. Vacasa does not provide any additional bedding. Highly recommend bringing real blankets or comforters if that is your preference. -No pool towels provided Overall, we had a great week and would definitely return to this area and complex - but would consider searching for another option.
