We love this little house! The location cannot be beat. It is a much quieter part of the beach than 30A, but five minutes away if you want to brave the crowds for dinner, shopping, etc. The house is older and a bit nostalgic, but had everything we needed. Furniture was updated and cute. They've clearly made many upgrades, because the beds were nice, and nothing was broken (like I saw mentioned in another review). The views are incredible, and the beach is super private. The pool was nice and even slightly warm in February from the sunshine. (We didn't request the heat, although it is apparently available.) The kids loved it! We will absolutely be back. Ask for April at Vacasa if you need anything! She was super easy to work with and went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us! We can't wait to be back!
Overall, we were disappointed with this property in many ways and would not recommend. While the location and views are great, the property itself and support services were severely lacking. Dealing with Vacasa was unnecessarily cumbersome before and during our stay. One of the main reasons we chose this property was the heated pool because of the time of year we were visiting. Heating of the pool had to be requested and cost extra. Vacasa required that I call in for this request which took almost an hour. When we arrived, the pool was not heated. It was a mess and the pool heat never ended up working. While they refunded what we paid to heat the pool, it meant we were not able to utilize one of the main amenities we chose the property for. We enjoyed the layout of the house itself and the views were spectacular. However, the house lacked some basic upkeep and had other issues. It was clear that no one managing the property had seen it or cared. Parts or the fence, outdoor lighting, etc. were broken and on th ground throughout. The beach and pool accessories were a pile of broken and rusted items. The extent of the broken rusted item was a serious safety concern for our small children. We cleaned up what we could to make the walkway passable but the entire pile needed to be thrown away. Inside the house, the beds and sheets were horrible. They all had a crinkly plastic cover, and cheap sheets that didn’t fit and came off while sleeping. Specifically in the main suite. The house as a whole did not offer basic items you would expect like potholders and a hair dryer. The items that were present were in poor shape (melted plastic wine glasses, broken kitchen items, etc.). Not sure if the issue is with Vacasa or the actual owner but we would not recommend.
The house was clean and very accommodating.
beautiful view of the beach. house needs updating and it was not clean upon arrival.
Great location and has everything you need but needs updating for sure...The fridge didn’t work well during our stay and the state of the furniture and overall cleanliness of the house was subpar.
Pool was very nice and maintenance guy was great, he came by for prior issues from last guest and took care of a few things for us too.
