Great unit, great location
The buildings have potential to be amazing but the scaffolding throughout the building and on balconies is weird. The apartment itself is very clean and spacious. The pool is big but uncomfortably warm.
We loved the condo, it had everything our family needed. It is very spacious, the beds are confortable, nice view to the pool. The restaurant by the pool was really convenient. The location was perfect to walk to the beach and restaurants/shops. Recommend 100%.
I will say that I became very concerned when we started hearing that the building had serious structural problems and one local even said they thought it was condemned. Should this place still be open?
Vacasa is hiding the true reason this condo has wood frames in place. Beware and do your research on The Pointe on 30A. These building were deemed structurally unsafe by engineers and Walton County did an emergency evacuation on all 3 buildings. The wood frames are temporary, and they reopened the only two buildings, yet building 2 is going to be condemned. The Fire Department will not respond to fires at these buildings, and the buildings have visible exterior and interior cracks. This is a huge liability and a disaster waiting to happen. Out of the 2 open buildings, there’s only a few condos that even continue to be rented out. Vacasa’s local team won’t address these issues with renters. To top it off, there’s no cable in any of the units. There’s also emergency repairs ongoing so while on vacation, we had engineers and construction workers on our balcony, drilling into the beams and the ceiling, as well as one of the worst damaged units 325, which is directly above this unit 315. One of the reasos engineers deemed these buildings unsafe is because they are water logged, therefor there are TONs of bugs like gnats and cockroaches. We contacted Vacasa every single day for an entire week to discuss these concerns and Vacasa and their local team could care less. Also, there’s bizarre men with their HOA who will run you down in the parking lot asking if you are staying with them because this place is such a ghost town, that random people visiting Inlet Beach park here and walk to the beach.
We loved our visit here! The bathrooms and showers were nice! (Most places don’t have good water pressure. This one did (-: ) We loved the location. The condo is modern, updated, and clean. We appreciated the beach gear! We just wish bikes would have been included in the rental. TV was an issue. No cable and the TVs are somewhat outdated and we couldn’t use streaming, but we survived without it. We had a great trip and we appreciated how smooth everything went with the condo rental from reserving it to checking out. Thank you!!!!
