The place is our favorite place to stay at High Pointe. We've been a regular repeat customer for many years. The room is in great shape and very nicely decorated. I see the sliding door has been repaired and worked very good. The only reason for not giving an excellent rating was what I considered unprofessional handling of the problems associated with the elevators being out of service. I will not be using Vacasa for future visits. Multiple inconsistent messages about what would be done to compensate for the problems, promises made then clearly someone overruled those commitments. We paid a premium to stay on the 4th floor ocean front. I had total knee replacement in February. Lugging all of our stuff on the day we arrived up four floors, then doing it again with the groceries caused a great deal of knee pain. The next morning it was still out of service until after 9:30. We were told we would be compensated for the inconvenience. First it was $100 a day, second it was $56. It appears to me someone was overriding / and taking a cheap way of handling. They took a loyal customer and ruined the relationship. Be honest and consistent. Maintenace needs to happen but do a better job of handling the issue.

We love the view from this condo and the comfort! This stay we had a little hiccup with the refrigerator going out before we came but the communication was great and all was taken care of! Would highly recommend!
