Loved the units location and decor.
We loved the location to the beach and that there was a bar and grill right on the resort.
Unit was well equipped and has a great location. The first floor end unit was easy access to the beach and Crabby Steve’s. Management was great to ensure we were comfortable. Love the location and convenience to all things 30a. We will definitely be back.
Location of this condo is great!
The state of the entire condo is really worn. The furniture in the den is disgustingly dirty. We covered the sofa and chairs with towels so we wouldn't be grossed out sitting on them or laying our baby on them. Cabinet doors are crooked and need to be adjusted. The handle on the feeezer is broken. The wastebasket slide-out in the kitchen is broken and dirty. There are dirty vents in the bathroom, and a huge water stain on the ceiling in one of the showers. There are no wine glasses, steak knives, oven mitts or decent cooking utensils or pots and pans. The quality of the linens provided is subpar. The fitted sheets were too small for all the beds so they slipped off the mattress immediately. The towels are small and thin. There were no bath mats provided. The shower curtains were dirty. I expressed these concerns to Vacasa and was told they’d “documented all of my notes and passed them along to their local operations and homeowner teams for review.” I sincerely hope they do, but I’m skeptical because we met another guest at the pool who said they had stayed at this condo last fall and had already expressed the same concerns then. Housekeeping was also lacking. Floors were dirty when we arrived and one of the beds was missing a sheet. When we got the automated text asking us to rate the cleaning, the agent offered to have someone come and re-clean, but we declined due to the intrusiveness. Housekeeping did bring us a set of sheets so that we could make the bed ourselves. Overall, we were just appalled at the amount we paid for 5 nights in such a rundown condo. (We have stayed in W16 previously and it was a great unit!) The positives are that High Pointe is a great resort in a beautiful, convenient location, and this unit is in a prime location within the complex.
Pros: If location is important, this is a great choice. Corner unit, first floor, beachfront, easy access, good water pressure, close to restaurants, shopping, prime 30A area. Customer service very responsive. Not great: furniture in room is dated (worn). Make sure to bring everything from towels, trash bags, spices if u plan to cook, pots and pans unless you want to used worn Walmart quality ones in room. You are literally getting an empty room, coffee maker and basic kitchen items. just our fam’s overall opinion and opinions vary.
