The open-concept living area is furnished with a large flatscreen TV and DVD player and the dining area comfortably seats four with two additional seats at the granite kitchen countertop. You'll find the large kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and utensils you'll need to put on a culinary showstopper for your guests. What’s nearby: Lots of great restaurants pepper the area surrounding this awesome home. Three miles away, stroll through Seaside and catch a sunset at Bud and Alley’s. (Hint: if you can guess the time of the sunset, you'll get a free drink!) Have lunch at one of many Airstream food trucks or get the Grits à Ya Ya at Great Southern Café. We are getting ready to check out from our stay at unit 205 Eastern Shores. As it's getting prepared for the next guests you should know the roach issue I saw other guests leave reviews about has not been solved. We found little roaches the last 2 nights around the hall bathroom area as well as around the fridge. I included pictures of them & the baits that are beside the fridge that are not working. It's also very nasty looking in that area. The other roaches came from by the toilet in hall bathroom. Also the owner could provide new cushions for the patio chairs. The 2 remaining are in poor shape. I included pictures of those. The couch needs attention for the stains. I also saw other guest reviews about it & saw for myself it wasn't resolved. I'm glad I brought my own sheet to cover it & sit on. It's a shame these same issues I encountered were not dealt with since prior guest. I was hopeful they had been. I enjoyed the location & beach proximity but if I were paying your spring & summer rates I would be very upset about the condition of the unit. Upon arrival the microwave door was broken & I had to report it to have it fixed. I reported the lack of locking sliding doors as well but told they cannot be fixed. I was also worried about not having an inside lock for the front door. It looks to have had one at some point & was removed. Being just myself & daughter staying here I felt less secure with the malfunctioning sliding door locks & no inside lock for the front. We also had issues with noise & walking into our unit through construction equipment & debris from the unit next door. This was not mentioned in the VRBO listing as construction happening.

I stayed here for a few days while volunteering at the 30A Songwriters Festival. Perfect view and in a convienent spot to get anywhere you need on 30A.

You won’t be disappointed in the location & view from this unit. The interior furniture & decor need some major updating, if you don’t spend a lot of time inside (like us) then its not as big of a deal.
