Rating
The space and furniture were decent. It did feel very clean. The view is nice. I would not recommend this specific unit until certain things were fixed. The bed's mattress is all springs and so squeaky! Did not sleep well. The bedroom door made a terrible noise opening and closing so that you could never come in and out quietly. It would be nice to have a few and at least one big cutting board. This is important when trying to prepare meals. A variety of board games would help on days when it's raining. Also, it would be nice if the refrigerator was somewhat cold on arrival.
We enjoyed the location of this condo to the parking area for unloading and packing up. The balcony view was nice. The kids loved the pools! Walking distance to some restaurants, good location.
We stayed in Waterscape Unit A628 from June 29 to July 6 while in town for my son’s baseball World Series. Unfortunately, our experience with this condo was deeply disappointing, especially considering the price point and expectations for a “home away from home.” Upon arrival, the overall condition of the condo was poor and unclean. The unit is clearly outdated—walls were scuffed and had chipped paint, kitchen cabinets were missing paint, and most furnishings were in rough shape. The decorative pillows were worn, and the living room credenza was heavily scratched. The most alarming discovery was the master bedroom curtains, which had what appeared to be stains resembling vomit, blood, or feces. This was deeply unsettling. Additionally, the microfiber couch was so worn that you could feel the springs beneath you, and it sloped backward, making it impossible to sit comfortably. The leather chairs were no better, showing visible water damage from prior guests sitting while wet. The kitchen was poorly equipped with old utensils, only one functional stove burner, and a non-working ice maker. In the bathrooms, the water pressure was extremely low—showering was nearly impossible, particularly when trying to rinse out sand. One of the most frustrating issues was a clogged toilet in the master bathroom, which took 36 hours, two phone calls, and a chat via the app to finally get resolved. Electrical safety was also a concern—when plugging in my phone charger, both outlets near the couch sparked. This is not only unacceptable, but a potential fire hazard. The bunk beds were incredibly uncomfortable; the mattresses were stiff and the pillows were rock-hard. It felt more like institutional bedding than a relaxing vacation space. Despite these issues, I will acknowledge two positives: the pool area and direct beach access were both very nice and well-maintained. Unfortunately, those are the only highlights in an otherwise unpleasant stay. Yes, I reported these concerns. I messaged the host the morning after check-in and received nothing but automated responses through an AI chat system. No resolution was offered, and no compensation provided. The lack of genuine customer service was incredibly frustrating. For the $4,300 we paid, we expected basic cleanliness, functional amenities, and responsive support. Sadly, this experience fell far short. Based on our stay, I would not recommend Waterscape A628, and we will not be returning.
The place was super clean, easy seamless check in. Friendly staff. Great view. Elevators took a long time being on sixth floor- long way to walk with small kids.
Our family of 4 have vacationed here a couple of times and we love it! Great amenities, location can't be beat, has everything we needed, and the kids love the pools. Can't ask for anything else!
