A lovely hand-painted mural extends along the length of the hallway in this unique gulf-front home featuring a perfect vista of beautiful Seagrove Beach. You can catch glimpses of dolphins while you savor your morning coffee from your private balcony. (Yes, dolphins in the morning!) Later, use the fully equipped kitchen to crank out some lunches and snacks for the family because it's just a few steps off your patio and along the boardwalk for a full day of sun and sand. What’s nearby: Centrally located off of 30A, this wonderful vacation rental puts you right in the middle of everything. You're less than three miles from Modica Market for great gourmet grocery shopping, and even closer to Eastern Lake where you can paddle on one of South Walton’s little gems, a coastal dune lake. Visit Deer Lake State Park, The Hub, Frankie’s Bike Shop, or Kahve & Cream, all within three miles. Check out Grayton Brew Pub for local brews and get local pizza from Bruno’s, both just a short drive or bike ride away. Beautiful view and comfortable accommodations. Kitchen well organized and very well supplied with cooking utensils and glasses/plates/serving pieces. We have rented this unit many times.
We love the location of this little gem. The guests and owners are always so kind as well. We just love it
Perfect location! Close to the beach and a short golf cart ride to the downtown area. Clean and well decorated!
Location and amenities
This was a cute condo, not super fancy but did the job. The proximity to the beach is wonderful. The upholstery on the couch is adorable but it also needs a good cleaning, pillows replaced, etc. Otherwise the majority of the condo was in decent shape and clean.
Of my own detergent. Again not disclosed in the description. The smoke detector went off when I used the toaster. Waking my whole family at 6 am unnecessarily. The sliding door is so Difficult to open my kids (6 and 9 and myself with a shoulder condition had to have my husband assist to open and close it). The “locks” for the sliding doors are 20 Year old tension rods that don’t even fit. At least get new ones that don’t look like they’ve been thru 4 hurricanes if you can’t install actual Locking mechanisms. The tv in the master didn’t work. I contacted vacasa and they suggested I troubleshoot it myself like Some sort of AV club lead in high school. Including suggesting WE check and replace remote batteries. I went on vacation to show up and relax. Not do the work that any basic super or make ready staff should. Certainly not to supply basic things like batteries. The tv in the living room broke up every few seconds bc of WiFi issues making it unwatchable. The WiFi was not suitable For video conferencing so I was unable to work Remotely. This home is not anywhere I would recommend someone stay overnight. Full stop. I literally stayed outside until I had to go to bed because there was no comfortable place to relax inside. I suppose I could suggest it for day use as like a beach “cabana” to Use while at the beach during the day but To charge MORE per night than places like The lodge at 30a (which provides access to golf and pool resorts) for this spartan, under-supplied, dated, Dirty gritty floored excuse For a Condo is highway robbery. The only thing that was acceptable was the shower water pressure. And thank god I brought my own towels because we’d have had nothing for the beach or to shower with after 1 day. Just cannot state strongly enough how poorly this home shows up. Pay a little more for a real Resort and leave the spare 40 year old Condo for the rubes you can trick into booking online. I also do not care for the fact that I booked this on Vrbo and then had to go thru vacasa. It was misrepresented as a Booking with an owner. This Is the 3rd property I have rented in this area and it’s the only vacasa one. I do not think vacasa makes This any better - perhaps it’s the reason the place is so poorly kept. The owners should be embarrassed and pissed. Suggestions: Paint the whole place Steam clean the Floors Provide 2-3 full size towels per person Get a runner for hall and kitchen , a large rug for master, and a rug for living areas rugs. Get bath mats Deep clean the sofas and upholstery Purchase new tension rods Replace Batteries Check for accuracy of codes before sending early check in text Repair or replace patio doors for accessibility and safety for people to be able to get in and out without superhuman strength
