11th-floor, Gulf-front condo with views, pools, hot tub & tennis

The only thing we loved was the view from the balcony. The condo was very disappointing. The entire condo needs an update with comfortable furniture and decorating. After a day on the beach you look forward to coming back to the condo and relaxing but nothing to look forward to at the Palacio 1103. One of the elevators was out of order. We would not book this condo again.

The view was beautiful. You could sit on the balcony and listen to the sound of the ocean. The complex was close to several restaurants and stores.

Wonderful view of the gulf , very clean. Could use a few upgrades but otherwise very nice.

This was good enough. Needs a few small improvements which I posted privately to the owners. Overall it was fine, but that was just it.

While we love the polacio building, the pools and the location, the owners off this unit need to put some money into it badly. Chipping and peeling paint on baseboards, outdated color of paint on walls. Master toilet seat is so worn. It looks like something from a gas station bathroom. Old looking and worn nightstands in the master bedroom, mismatched lamps. Stove very old with hints of rust. Carpet in master bedroom very stained and looks terrible. Not usually a review person, but this place is in such a need of work maybe leaving a review will help. Will certainly return to the Palacio again, but definitely not to this unit.

The building is in a great location. Great places to eat close by (Lillian's Pizza is a favorite). Close to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area and Pensacola area. Big Lagoon State Park was a favorite. About 5 minutes away. The balcony faces the beach. Very easy beach access. The wrist bands are electronic, so you can use them instead of needing to remember the building door codes, the pool gate code and the beach gate code. The master bed was comfortable (they have added a nice cushion top to it), but squeaky. The couch was comfortable to sit on. The view from the balcony is very nice. This is one of the smallest units we've stayed at in this building, but also one of the cheapest. See the other reviews about the fogged up sliding door. Still the same. Kitchen has older appliances and worn counter, but everything worked. Sufficient for our needs and the short trip we took. Check out instructions were sent by email and I didn't see them until I got home. Take out trash, strip beds and start dishwasher. A text, like we got for everything else, would have been nice. Instructions/information on laminated sheet under the TV in the living room is incorrect. They no longer supply beach chairs or umbrellas included in rental price. They were $38.00 w/ tax for the day. All of this is not anything that would stop us from renting. We knew going in that this wasn't a luxury condo. You get what you pay for. We were happy to be on the beach in summer for a price lower than we usually find.
