We stayed there during Thanksgiving and made our tradition Thanksgiving meal. Was able to do this with all the kitchen appliances. Family of 7 had an awesome time. And made more memories as a family. Thanks
I have been staying at Waterscape for the last 12 years. This unit was a pretty nice unit. Only thing I seen is it could use a new washer and dryer as they are very noisy and could have used some larger tvs. My problem is not with the unit as much as with the Waterscape property. Everytime something has broken on the Waterscape property they have gone back with something cheaper and they have done it again with their recent bracelet change. They have now gone to a security bracele system where you have to wear their electronic bracelet to go out or in any of the exits to get to the beach or pool or to get into any of the pools and there are 3 of them. Now its not only that you have to wear them but you have to maneuver them to a detector to get the doors or gates to open up and it wasn't an easy ordeal. One night I forgot my electronic bracelet and went out an exit door to the beach. Somehow it was open. When I came back later I couldn't even get into my building. Luckily I had my phone and called my wife. She was not happy having to get out of bed to come down with her bracelet to let me in. I watched for several days as people coming in with kids, towels, wagons, armloads of stuff and was having to try and maneuver this bracelet to get the doors to the condo and the gates open to the pools. You could see the look of frustration on peoples faces. I believe there will be alot of people not going back in my opinion. So now since they have put this new security bracelet in place they have gone cheaper and cut down on their security personnel. Matter of fact in a week I only saw 2 little young guys once walking around with a shirt that said Property Patrol. They looked about 18. Now if you are in a pool area and someone starts trouble there is no one to stop it. If you are in a hot tube and 10 little kids want to pile in without their parents there is no one to say your not allowed in there. There is absolutely no security pretty much in or around the building or pool area anymore. They have gotten this bracelet system and have now let most if not all the security go. Now I know if you ask them why they did this they would say its to keep people from getting into the pools or the building that are not staying there. Well this just shows how someone that made this decision is not very smart. On several occasions as I or other people would be walking up to a pool gate or a door other people that were coming or going would hold the door open for you. Now this was nice but if you wanted to get into the building or pool all you have to do is stand there just a second and someone or some kid would go through the door or gate and you can simple walk in without a bracelet. At least back in the day with the regular arm bands and real security people walking around they would check people for their bands and they would monitor the pools and condo grounds for things that are not suppose to be going on. Now they have none of that. Another bad decision from them
Condo was clean and convenient to parking garage and pools and ocean. Ground level so no stairs.
Waterscape was excellent and check-in was a breeze. The unit was on the first floor very close to the exit towards the pool, which we loved! The balcony was also very nice and quite a bit higher from the ground for a 1st floor unit than we expected (which we appreciated). The furnishings were all very nice and the owner had clearly invested in the property. We rented 2 units during our stay, and we preferred this one. Absolutely would stay again!
Our group of 8 was very happy with the condo, the location to the parking lot, pool and beach. The environment was kid friendly and everyone enjoyed our time there.
Access to all the amenities and staff was very pleasant. We been there several times in past and hopeful we can visit again in near future.
