Overall, we had a great vacation and really enjoyed everything Waterscape Resort has to offer. The pools, beach access, and family-friendly amenities made for a fun stay, and that’s what made our trip so enjoyable. The condo itself, however, could use some updating. Several of the cushions had noticeable stains, and the kitchen cookware was in poor condition. The cookware selection was already limited, and even something as simple as making scrambled eggs became frustrating because everything stuck to the pans, requiring extensive scrubbing afterward. We also experienced a couple of inconveniences during our stay. The outdoor ice machine was out of service for our entire visit, so we had to leave the resort each day to buy ice. In addition, only about half of our pool wristbands worked, making it difficult for our family to access the pool area. Overall, we still had a wonderful vacation because of the resort itself, but addressing these maintenance and housekeeping issues would greatly improve the guest experience.
Nice place but washer & dryer didn’t work all week. They finally fixed it the very last day we were there which was really inconvenient. Oven never worked, just said “preheat” for hours.
We all loved the water park. We loved the view from our balcony
The pool and the easy access to the beach.
The condo was everything we needed and more. The unit itself was close to the elevators and the upper pool deck, which was perfect for my toddler and family. Parking was easily accessible and everything was super clean and inviting. Will definitely book again in the future!
We loved the atmosphere. We loved the pool area and beach area. I felt comfortable and safe. My older boys could have freedom while I sat at a table by the pool. Beach was clean and beautiful. Some of our friends had beautiful rooms as well. The room/condo issue is a gamble. Floors were filthy, appliances not working, plumbing issue with poop smell, underwear in bedding that didn’t belong to us. B212, was filthy. I walked around unpacking when we first got there and put our 8 month old on the carpet to play with the older boys. My feet and his hands were filthy within minutes. The bottom of my feet were black! Our front door looked like there was a bar fight outside it. Our refrigerator water wasn’t working and they asked me if I checked if the water filter needed to be changed?!?! I’m on vacation - I’m not doing house repairs that should have been checked before new guests arrive. Our bathrooms had mildew and mold around the showers. One shower had hair in the drain that I refused to touch and clean up. The molding was ripped off around the bathroom as if it was under construction between guests. We found a pair of briefs belonging to a very small child in the boys’ room, but it didn’t belong to any of them. The remotes were missing the backs to cover the batteries and some of the TVs didn’t even work. It took a few trials to even figure out which remote went to which TV. The pan left in the room to cook with was so burnt up it isn’t safe to use. And the biggest issue was when we filled one of the bathtubs up and the whole room (bathroom and bedroom) began to smell like 💩 poop. My husband and I actually started to look through towels and dirty clothing to see if there was poop anywhere. Nope, it was coming from the tub that we had filled with water!!!! I had to open all the patio doors to air out the room. This happened the day beore we left. I reported it and suggested they don’t put another guest in that room until the poop issue was fixed.
