We loved staying at Sea Cabin 2D. We loved the close proximity to the beach and we also enjoyed the beautiful pool area.
The Sea Cabins were a perfect fit for our family, and in prime location to the beach, to restaurants, to shopping, etc.! Everything in the condo was clean, organized, worked perfectly, and in some areas even exceeded our expectations! We also used the onsite swimming pool constantly, as well as the laundromat, and both were very clean and worked perfectly! Can't wait to come back!
The place was awesome and very close to the beach.
Unfortunately, we had more cons than pros with staying in the SeaCabins 2D through Vacasa. I will list them all separately to make it easier to read. I hope my review helps any future guests to deter from renting this house! Pros: - Property is located very close to the beach. 1 minute walk. Was very nice! - Kitchen had everything you could need. Even came with a hand mixer. Fridge also had an ice maker which was very nice to have at times. - Plenty of bathroom towels. We never ran out. - Easy and safe parking. - The property seemed to be in a very safe area. - Had a box fan and a tower fan available to use. - Had a baby gate to keep kids off the stairs. Cons: - Let me start off with the worst thing that happened during our trip. Our a/c quit working and was never properly fixed or addressed. At one point, our house was 80 degrees inside. There was a little sticker above the thermostat that stated to leave it on 72 or above to keep it from freezing. I don’t keep my house at 72 or above and this was also NOT stated in the house description. If I would’ve known that, I would’ve immediately stayed somewhere else. We kept the thermostat at 72 but it quit working all together and the house was so hot inside. I booked through Vrbo and they were immediately in contact with Vacasa. The property manager through Vacasa reached out later on and stated she would send someone out. I had to reach out via text 3 times and eventually had to call her to get an answer. While we were gone to dinner, she stated it was fixed. When we returned the thermostat stated 72. Eventually, it quit working again. I reached out to Vrbo and they reached out to Vacasa again. After the 2nd attempt to get our a/c fixed, I never heard anything from Vacasa of the property manager. My family and I just had to push through the heat. If you have a family that needs a/c in your house, I would avoid this place. - There was no coffee table or downstairs bedroom tv as pictured/described. - There was deodorant left from a very previous guest in the upstairs bedroom. - The upstairs tv remote didn’t work and the downstairs tv remote barely worked. The downstairs tv, we had to push it a lot and at different angles to get the tv on and to put on any sort of streaming services. - The downstairs bedroom must’ve been a closet and renovated to a bedroom because that bedroom was TINY. There is only room for a bed and a small dresser and nothing else can fit in there. - No hand soap provided for upstairs bathroom. I am not one to really review things but my goodness, this was just not a good stay. I want to provide this review to make future guests aware of what you’re getting into before booking.
We were very happy with the short walk to the beach and the extra bunk room was very comfortable.
Literally right across the street from the beach. Less than a 2 minute walk to get to the beautiful white sand and clear water. Home came with clean bathrooms and kitchen and comfy beds. Plenty of room!
