Condo in Miramar Beach with a pool & stellar views

Convenient place, cross from the beach, very clean and quiet place

Let me start with the positives. The place was very clean and well kept (with one exception) and the complex is safe and secure. Right across the road is easy beach access. Let me say that I almost never rent a condo at the beach, and perhaps I am at fault for some of this. I guess I was a bit naive and didn't realize that condo listings are sometimes trumped up or misleading just like for sale listings, and you really need to do your homework. I feel some of the information in the property listing was incomplete or misleading. We specifically rented this place because it had 3 bedrooms. We had a couple and two single adults and I wanted everyone to have a room and a bed. The third bedroom with the bunk beds is not really a bedroom per-se. There is no accessible closet in that room. We were in town for a wedding and everybody needed closet space. In that room is the air conditioning unit for the condo--the entire thing, in a closet with a vented door. It kicks on and off throughout the day and night as necessary to keep the place cool. But it is very loud, makes a huge racket when it kicks on, and vibrates the floor. There's no way someone could get a good night's sleep in that room. So I feel we paid for a 3-bedroom unit, but really got a 2-bedroom unit. This important information about that third bedroom should be disclosed on the property listing and I don't see that it is. The property listing indicates that there is only one vehicle parking space per condo. From what I can tell, that's not a Vacasa or owner restriction, but a condo association restriction. Nevertheless, it was frustrating that I had to pay $60 for parking another vehicle off site ($30 per day) when literally over half of the parking spaces in the complex were empty the entire four days we were there. It's 2025 people, we have computers, somebody can work that out so it's not an issue of taking up somebody else's parking space that is actually on property. The listing indicates that there is paid parking at the RV park which is "behind the complex." Technically, the RV property does back up to the condo property, but to actually get there to retrieve a vehicle is a 15 minute walk, most of which is down a road with no sidewalks. That's on me for not doing my homework, talking to somebody at the RV park, and getting pricing. Because we were back and forth to the wedding venue and had different assignments, not having immediate access to both vehicles was a significant hindrance. Recommendation: level with people about the off-site parking reality. Key code didn't work when we arrived. Internet was out in our condo 90% of the time we were there. We were given a password for another condo, but that stopped working as well. If we come back to Miramar Beach, we would not stay at this unit or this complex.

We love to stay in this condo. It is a perfect place to get away and enjoy the ocean. Everything is perfect!

Lovely well maintained home, plenty of space, comfortable beds. Close to the beach, and pool, an easy walk across the street.

We’ve stayed in this unit for three years and have always loved the location, cleanliness, and amenities—it’s a great place for a family getaway. However, this was the first time we encountered a few issues. There was no parking tag upon arrival, just like last year. We also noticed the stove light wasn’t working, the garbage disposal was broken, and there were only three forks in the kitchen drawer. The pans left by the previous tenant weren’t properly cleaned, so we had to rewash them before use. Thankfully, all of these concerns were addressed quickly. However, after the garbage disposal was replaced, the dishwasher stopped draining. We also had Wi-Fi issues on the last night—either we couldn’t connect at all, or the internet wasn’t working when we did. Despite these hiccups, we still enjoy this unit and hope these problems are just a one-time occurrence.
