Gorgeous ground-floor condo, private patio, shared pool and beach access offered great value and left guests very pleased with their stay. The unit was certainly not updated in MANY years. Poor amenities. Kitchen was bare. Bathroom floor was slick, shower not sealed and water would leak on floor during shower! Unit looked nice in pictures. Very deceiving. We were so sad to spend this much money and be so disappointed. The pool was wonderful. Surfside resort was beautiful and clean. Staff was excellent! Most we spoke to said what they rented was very nice and well taken care of. So this review is NOT against Surfside, by any means! Kelley, the property manager did say she would give us some money back. We did receive less than $200 back, of the over $2000 we spent. Lesson learned! We plan on coming back but this time we’ll make sure that the rental has been updated that we pick. It was difficult to give this unit even a one star.
