We rented this unit after our original unit was sold and our reservation was cancelled. Check in was a clusterf*** of epic proportions. Vacasa said we needed to get parking passes from the security guard hut, there was a hut but no guard. We didn't receive our door code, so we contacted Vacasa. We were told that the door had a digital lock and the code was TBD.... Really Vacasa??? Not only was that incorrect, the door required a key. We had no info on where to get the key so we decided to go across the street to the managers office. It was closed and no key in the box. Vacasa then told us that the key was in a blue box down the street. The address they gave us was to a fire station and a conference center. Again, really Vacasa???? Finally, a local manager named Dalton called me and was able to give me the correct address to where the key was. Now lets talk about the unit. It was plenty big enough for the 6 of us since it could comfortably sleep 7+. The bathroom in the room with the bunk beds only had 1 light bulb that worked. The WIFI password was incorrect. The description said there were higher counters, but they were uncomfortably high for anyone under 5'6. The master bath has a huge beautiful shower with 8 or more shower heads, but only 3 work and it took a really long time to figure out how to get hot water. The coffeepot sucks and needs to be replaced, the bottom dishwasher doesn't work and there are too many couches. It is hard to move around in the eating area by the huge window. The condo is up for sale and needs to be updated and things need to be replaced. The second day we were there, we got a notice that they were going to put a boot on one of our cars because we didn't have parking permits.... Really??? We had no way of getting them since there was no guard in the hut and the office was closed and they weren't with the key. I called Dalton from Vacasa and he apologized and met us at the managers office(which was closed) and he was able to track down a security guard to get us permits. Dalton was the only good thing about Vacasa . It will be very hard for me to rent anything else from Vacasa in the future.
