Awesome location, close to the beach and restaurants in the area. The condo was very spacious and clean. Loved the chairs on the balcony.
The condo itself was nice, clean and comfortable. The housekeepers were still cleaning at 4pm when we arrived but finished up quickly. Very convenient location right across from the beach. But do not stay here if you are noise sensitive, we could hear every step from our upstairs neighbors whom I had to confront after 3 days for being excessively noisy. The condo needs some repairs, toilet paper holders are falling off the wall, no ice maker (which cost us more money to buy every day). No can opener, casserole dishes or cookie sheets. It would be nice to get hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen. Overall a very nice condo, but because of the noise we would not stay here again. If we could have gotten a refund after the first two days, we would have.
I love the area and would consider other condos in the Gulf Place area.
Nice roomy place. Very good location. Dining room chairs need some repair. Screws all loose making chairs wobbly.
We loved that the condo was spacious and had a washer and dryer and was easily accessible. When we arrived the garbage disposal was not working however, I contacted management and they had it fixed asap. Information about codes for the pool and beach gate and the door were communicated easily and promptly. The condo was a good price and we got what we paid for.
First off, there is no one thing about this unit that is truly bad, just a lot of little things that aren't good. The whole unit is very dingy and worn down. The entire thing needs to be updated. Basically, everything that is white, is scuffed, peeling, dingy, or stained, including the popcorn ceiling in several spots. If you close any of the interior doors, there are massive amounts of dust and cobwebs. The living room furniture is stained and dingy, and fairly small and uncomfortable. The beds, bedding, and linens all feel super cheap worn. The balcony doors are a huge pain to open and close and are really rusted and stained on the outside. Although, the balconies were under repair while we were there so we weren't out on it anyway. The walls and floors are paper thin. We could hear conversations upstairs, and definitely heard every single step that was taken. The dishwasher wasn't mounted to the counter, so when you open it, the whole thing comes sliding out. There is a garbage disposal, but we couldn't find a switch to make it run, and the previoius visitors put food down it which stunk. As far as the building overall, the stairs have been closed for months and the whole time we were there, no one was working on them, the shower station by the pool (to wash off sand from the beach) was broken for two days, and once repaired the hose on it had several cracks in it, and the elevator broke down. We love Gulf Place, but definitely won't be returning to this unit or building.
