well equipped condo with the amenities we needed for a week at the beach
Truly. It’s the most bare minimum location I’ve ever slept in. No deadbolt or way to secure the apartment from the inside. Smoker detector was constantly beeping. Beds sank in towards the middle and horrifically uncomfortable. Only 1 battery in each remote. When we got the TV on there was only 1 channel so not many options there. Shower door seemed like it was going to break when we opened it. No extra bedding and on a positive note it was so cold but the top cover is really just a glorified sheet so we found ourselves very chilled. They do have nice bidets on each toilet but that’s probably the only good thing about this property. Would not come back.
It's in a favorite location. Convenient to everything. It's perfect for my travel needs.
House was majority stocked pretty well with necessities. I think our only complaints was lack of storage for putting clothes away, both rooms had closets- less than 10 hangers in total, one room had a tiny nightstand as dresser storage, the other has a plastic three drawer storage box. Depending on the length of time you intend on staying, limited storage may be fine as for us, 10 nights we definitely ran out of place and had to purchase hangers to utilize. The other thing is between the two televisions in the condo only one is a smart tv, with your apps (Netflix, Amazon) which is the living room tv. The bedroom tv had nothing, so plan to bring Roku or dvd players. Overall, it was very clean & comfortable. Our family definitely felt at home!
The property is located in a great place, close to everything. I just had issues with several things within the unit I rented. The guest toilet would not properly flush, forcing us to open the top to manual pull the chain. The master shower door was jammed and would not open properly without force. Was described as having a sleeper sofa, which it did not. I had talk to someone at Vacasa regarding have 2 extra guests for a night, which they said would be ok. They had mentioned at that time that it would not be a problem since there is a sleeper sofa. So, happy with the location, but not happy with the unit I stayed in.
The condo was wonderful. Clean, smelled fresh, and very well appointed. Shower got hot quick and water pressure was great. Master bed was comfortable. Living room was spacious, sofa was cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was very clean, with everything I needed. Only minor issue was bedroom tv didnt work, and living room tv was slow at times. The tv in the bedroom didn't bother me since I wouldn't usually use it anyway, but it should work. The area was awesome. Topsail Village is a quiet residential community. This area at the west end of 30A is quiet and peaceful. The beach is about a mile away. The 30A bike/walk trail is an easy option and a nice walk. The state park entrance is less than a mile away, and a great place to go with beach access, bike rentals, and plenty of hiking trails around the coastal dunes lakes. There is BBQ restaurant right across the street. Didn't eat there this time but it smelled good! There are plenty of other dining options just a short drive down 30A. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
