Sparkling Luau II condo with marina, pools, tennis & golf

In my 40 years, this is the 1st time a stay truly left nothing to be desired. We had everything we needed, and then some. I'll be honest, I was nervous after reading some Vacasa reviews (not of this unit). However, after our stay I would say Remember, people are much less likely to take the time to review when everything goes as planned. I have to believe that is the case here. As, not only the unit, but my experience with Vacasa from start to finish went seamlessly. Booking was easy. All online and for much cheaper (1/3 less) than direct through the resort. The only thing that gave me pause was, with this particular unit, they did not give the info to get into the unit until EXACTLY 24 hours (on the dot) prior to check-in. A little nerve-racking when you are driving 12 hours to get there. So, do not worry when you have not gotten the code. It will come at precisely 4pm CENTRAL time day before. I will say customer service was very helpful when I texted them concerned about this. Also, how awesome to be able to text instead of a phone call. I loved that texting was an option throughout the trip. CS was quick to respond and very friendly anytime I texted. Upon arrival the gate code and room door code worked perfectly. The room was immaculate. Surprising given the sandy environment. But not a spot of sand or dirt. Clean as a whistle. The unit has absolutely everything you might need. The appliances are top of the line and work wonderfully. The washer dryer certainly added to the convenience of the stay. There was not one thing we wanted for that wasn't available to us. The location of the unit is great. 8th floor makes for a great view. The building itself is, one of, if not THE closest to the beach access at the resort. It is an easy walk down with plenty of ramps for beach wagons. It made transporting a day's stay on the beach easy peasy. Also, the unit is nice and quiet. I could not hear anyone above or beside us. Occasionally a loud group going down the hall, but that was rare. The amenities at the resort are great. The Luau pool is just a few steps out the door. Great chill spot. They have ambient music playing, a waterfall, and a hot tub in a cozy little hideaway by the pool. I really could go on and on. It was one of the best vacations I've ever had! The resort, the unit, the overall area, and the customer service, all great! I have zero complaints! I absolutely plan to make this a yearly stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The appliances all appeared to be brand new and were very nice. Kitchen was well stocked. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable. We read that in another review, so we took a mattress pad. The unit was very clean with the exception of the sofa (it was stained in multiple places and needed to be steam cleaned). Overall, it was a lovely unit and we'd stay again.

This condo is perfect for a family of 4. It appeared clean upon arrival and had a nice view from the windows and balcony! Upon leaving we were making sure we got all our stuff and my husband looked behind couch and found trash that was not ours. One included a used bathroom item. Other than that everything else was great. The only issue we ran into was a pool closure. Walk to beach is 5 minutes. Easy walk. No luggage carts are ever available though. Which was not pleasant for an 8th floor stay, but we managed. Happy that the freezer had an ice machine! Great food options nearby and other attractions as well.

This unit was clean and nothing as out of place. I appreciated the ocean view from the living room and from the balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay. First time in San Destin. Quick walk to the beach, nice pool and very quiet and peaceful. Our condo was well equipped. Definitely recommend
