This lovely two bedroom, two bathrooms, condo on the first floor offers a picturesque beach and Gulf view with a convenient stairway from the balcony to the beach boardwalk. The kitchen is fully equipped and has nice wood cabinets, full-size appliances, full housewares, tiled floors, and full-size washer and dryer in a separate laundry closet. The primary bedroom offers a majestic four-poster king bed, cozy bedding, a TV, and a DVD player. The guest bedroom has two twin beds, a TV, and a DVD player. The living area has a great casual nautical feel with red, white and blue colors, a comfortable red sofa, a matching loveseat, a West Indies style loveseat, and a chair with ottoman. There is a dining table for six, an outdoor wicker patio set, as well as two bar stools for more casual seating at the bar. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Beach service is available March 1 - October 31.

We’ve never stayed at Mainsail before so we were excited. Our room was right off from the pool and a short distance to the beach. We loved the easy access from our room. We got to the beach around 7:15am to see the umbrella guys setting up. We were told that owners had access to the first row and we could pick out any setup on the second row but that couldn’t happen till 9am when they open. I was a little thrown at that comment as other places we’ve stayed we’ve always setup at the beach early to get a good spot. The guys were super nice when explaining the rules. And not all owners came and sat in their chair setup. We’ve just never experienced this type of setup before. If you’re ok with waiting for a setup then it will be good for you. The master bedroom mattress for this unit was terrible.

From a nutcracker holding up a chandelier to a primary king bed with a giant crater in the middle, i'll never book with Vacasa or Mainsail again. I reported all issues to Vacasa. They delivered silverware and new pans to make up for having to buy plastic forks and a new pan to cook with. The refigerator leaked constantly, the drying vent was not even connected to the dryer, the sliding screens didn't work, and so much more. Unbelievably terrible and very glad to be home.

We enjoyed being able to walk out on the balcony & go down the private staircase to the pool or walkway to the beach without having to go to the elevator.

Overall the location is ideal. The description makes you think you take a few steps down to the pool, but it is actually a whole flight of stairs. So we had to use the elevator to the bottom floor to go to the beach to get our wagon and chairs and cooler down. The condo itself needs a really good updating. Screens were broken, no hot water. Smelled like cat pee. The mainsail property is very nice. I would stay there again, just not at this condo.
