8th floor condo with Gulf views, balcony, pools, hot tubs, central AC, and WiFi

Location of the Edgewater is fantastic. You can walk to the grocery store, Chick Fil A, the outlets, What-A-Burger, Marco's Pizza. You're very close to the Surf Hut for a drink or for a meal. In the unit, the views are fantastic and watching the sunset on the beach is as good as seeing it from the walkway on the 8th floor. It's gorgeous. In the unit, the blackout drapes are a real plus since it faces the east. There is definitely a bit more wear and tear than other places we've stayed in this price range. It is an '80s era building so the rooms have lower ceilings but the unit has been updated with ceramic tile flooring and newer applicances. Interior Doors are separating/have water damage at their bases and cabinet doors often don't stay closed so that could be updated to make the unit seem more high end. The layout is excellent for a family and we loved the large patio with great seating. Beds were pretty comfortable and there was plenty of storage. TVs are a great size and worked seamlessly. Sofas and chairs in living room were a bit worn down and have seen better days, but the set up was great. If the sofa and love seat were upgraded it would be a perfect living area. We loved the property. The pools, hot tub, basketball goal, landscaping, everything...it was great. I don't know what the parking situation would be like in the summer. We parked below the building and if the building was full, I don't know where all the cars would fit. But we didn't have that problem in October. The beach was beautiful and not crowded, but again, we weren't there at a peak time. My guess is that it's several rows of chairs deep in the summer based on the fact that the one row and two hoops of vendor chairs were completely full during the week in October. Overall we could come back to this unit for the right price during off-peak periods. We loved the Edgewater Beach property and its amenities as well as its location. If you're going to be out at the beach or pool for the duration of your stay, this is a great spot. It definitely shows the wear and tear of being a rental property and isn't a luxury condo but with a few upgrades of furniture, interior doors, and cabinetry, it could be a much more high end unit.

I had a great time at the beach from this condo. The staff was great and the view was phenomenal. However, there is a major roach problem in this condo and it put a damper on what would have been a perfect vacation

We've stayed at this place 4+ times. Between the close beach access, kid pool, and playground, it's perfect for a family trip

The condo is old and needs to be updated. There are several spots that look terrible (such as the bathroom doors). The building itself is not well maintained. We had several problems with getting through car gates and pool gates. The building staff were always frustrated to help us. This condo does NOT include beach chairs which are $50 a day. Vacasa itself was very hard to work with. I called them several times with no and poor responses.
