Spacious Gulf Front Condo with Private WD and Shared Pool

Loved the view. We would have been repeat visitors except for the bugs and the bed.

Make sure you research construction projects before you book. 7 of 9 days of jack-hammers, drilling and pounding that was extremely loud and annoying from morning until to late afternoon. Not the fault of the homeowner, the unit was outstanding. Vacasa was unresponsive and ignored our concerns. Very disappointed.

This is a nice condo with a great view. It has had some updates.

Great location, low key, good amenities. Management hit or miss on communication. But still had a good time once lock issue was resolved. Do not message thru vrbo. We tried to check in day before, we knew the place was clean and vacant because we almost booked the night before but waited till next morning which at that time the current day is not available to book online. Messaged thru vrbo and got response over 24 hrs later and the response didn't address the question. Given rubber wrist bands that seem pointless to use, at least in the off season.

Really enjoyed our stay. Heated pool was a nice surprise. Both main mattresses could use replacing, was ok but definitely dipped in where people lay.

We stayed at this unit in late Feb/early March of 2025 for a short stay. We packed up the night before we left and found 1 cockroach in the bathroom and a few in the kitchen. We contacted Vacasa and they thanked us for letting them know. 10/18-10/26 2025 I was cooking up dinner using the stove, using several burners and all of the sudden 4-5 small cockroaches came crawling up the backsplash behind the stove and towards the refrigerator. We took pictures as fast as we could, moved the food and then found a can of roach spray under the kitchen sink. We took care of it. I don’t over react and manage things. I don’t want my kids having the memory of bugs everywhere. We just put all our food things and paper products in the fridge or dining table. Next night found one in the queen bed. Last day: 4:45am with a needed departure time of 5:30am due to the 13hour drive back home, I was packing up the rest of the snacks, kitchen and last minute items. Then I saw more of the small roaches around the base of the fridge on the floor. My husband called my attention to the bathroom where there was an another small roach on the bathroom counter near his shower stuff. We took pictures and took care of them. Then I went to put things on the cart and saw something in the corner of my eye near the fake plant on the floor and there was a bigger roach. I took a picture and took care of it. Then I sprayed the ones in the kitchen. They issued a cleaning fee refund but would not answer or return our phone calls.
