So much fun. Second time staying in the house and we loved it just as much this time that we did last time! Everything was clean. But make sure to bring your own spices(salt and pepper) and cleaning supplies lol but we love this property.

This place was beautiful and just steps away from the water.

The private beach was unbelievable. Dolphins played in front of us while sitting on the private pier. Accommodates 10 very comfortably. If you have 3-5 couples it's way cheaper than a hotel and way better. Best deal I've seen in years. Will be back.

I chose the house based on location and reviews. I was a little nervous that there were only 44 reviews at the time of my booking, that seemed pretty low. I also had never used Vacasa before. I was shocked at the number of issues we encountered, one of which could have ended in tragedy. I will say, when I reached out via text to the Vacasa call center they did respond immediately, which was appreciate. It did not however always result in a resolution. Here are some of the issues we encountered: · The wrong entry code on arrival. Minor, but frustrating. · The facilities were dirty. I did report and just cleaned myself. o Stained carpets and living room furniture. o Dirty floors with what appeared to be dried pet urine. o Dried food on the wall under the kitchen bar top. o Trash left outside on the beach and under deck. o The outside cooler was full of water and trash. o Dishes in the cabinets had food stains and I hand washed them. · The garbage from the previous guests was not picked up. Two completely full garbage cans. The call center said it would not get picked up until Wednesday. o Vacasa did send someone to get, which was good as the garbage was not picked up on Wednesday. We had it on the curb Tuesday night. · Several light bulbs were out. · The refrigerator door handle fell off and the ice maker did not work. o Vacasa said it had been reported several times and it was going to have to be replaced. · There were missing remotes and others had corroded batteries. o Vacasa did send replacements. · The attached bath on the guest bedroom 3rd floor the tub would not drain well and filled with water during showering. · The water hose out back was missing a nozzle and had multiple holes. We thought it was a soaker hose at first due to the water coming out all the entire hose. o Vacasa did send a replacement. · There was algae on the concreate that myself and an elderly guest slipped on. We found a scrub broom and cleaned it the best we could. · One of the bikes was missing a pedal. · The worst issue by far: o My husband and son used the two kayaks to go on a long kayak trip. By the time they returned my husband’s kayak was low in the water and listing to one side. We turned it over and discovered there was a hole that had been previously patched and was coming out. The boat was half full of water. The other kayak also had a patch. This could have ended in tragedy. I did report and was told someone would be by to repair or remove the kayak. This never happened. it. Vacasa did offer a small reimbursement, but for what we paid and the issues we encountered I did not find it acceptable. I have used other platforms to rent with no real issues. The neighbor’s house was immaculate and the guests there paid what we did. I will book there in the future through a different platform.

This place was perfect for our family. The backyard and patio were perfect for our little kids to enjoy the beach all day. The sunsets are truly to die for. The beach is an easy 5 min walk. We needed assistance from Vacasa for propane and it only took 20 mins for them to get us a new tank. House was immaculately clean and well decorated. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well. we hope to be back in the future.
