Lovely Condo with Sunset Views & Shared Pool Access, Snowbirds Welcome

There was a few things that we loved about the property, but unfortunately more that we were disappointed in. We stayed for four nights, and it was the perfect amount of space for us. We appreciated that the property had two bathrooms, and that there were plenty of towels left for our use. We liked the location, and that it was close to the beach. However, the property is in serious need of some work. From the initial walkthrough, I was very disappointed in the amount of damage that was found. There’s marks and scuffs all over the walls and doors, to the point that my child thought someone drew on the walls in his room. Tables were very scratched and very sticky. The smoke detector in one room was hanging by a wire from the ceiling which leads one to wonder if it was even working, and the bathroom fan had to be pushed back into place as it was hanging out of the ceiling as well. Serving utensils were dirty, with old food crusted on them. I don’t believe the condo was vacuumed at all before we arrived, unless a separate vacuum was brought. There was sand everywhere, and while I understand it’s a beach rental, there is ZERO reason that we should have to take apart the vacuum and clean the filter off to be able to get the floor clean. Prior to doing that, the vacuum wouldn’t pick up little crumbs in the kitchen, let alone the sand that was everywhere when we arrived. The air return vent in the hallway was caked with dust. The ice machine in the fridge/freezer did not work. The whole bottom piece of the fridge was not attached with some sort of internals for the fridge being exposed. One bedroom closet had dirty towels thrown up on the shelf for some reason? Also several of the photos do not match the property currently. It looks like one bathroom was remodeled and changes weren’t reflected in the listing. Also there was a lot of confusion regarding parking passes and the pools. One email we received said that the HOA requires parking passes. Another said that parking passes were not required. I reached out to clarify and yet again received two different answers. If parking passes are not required then change the email that is sent out that states they are required. With the pools, we went to one that is behind the property but had no idea which one we were supposed to be going to as there were two visible from the property. Some sort of direction on that front would’ve been really helpful. As a whole, I think this property could definitely use some TLC and a total refresh, as well as more attention to detail between bookings. We absolutely loved Navarre, but will look for another rental location in the future. I have photos of a lot of things mentioned but don’t see a way to attach photos to my review. Spacious and great view of the sound. Having a washer and dryer ais great also.

This condo is just the best, we come here every year, sometimes twice a year, bed is very comfy, sunset views are beautiful, 37A beach access is right across the street which is the best shelling spot, deluxe blinds and very cold AC rounds out this great vacation condo.
