Beachfront Escape with Gulf Views, Pool & Hot Tub

We've used vacasa before to book our trips and we're happy however this year the resort was an absolute nightmare. Honestly if I could give this place zero stars I would. The only perk to it is it's on the beach and conveniently close to everything. We stayed a week in what was listed as a 3br but its only 3 beds. a pullout couch, single size bunk beds in the hallway and one master king size bed that took up the entirety of the room I hope you dont mind walking sideways in your condo because it's crowded and small. REALLY SMALL. Onto the bad. The elevators scream as they run and I dont mean a squeek I mean a scream. We were woken up every night by it squeeling as people were on it. We were woken up early every morning by construction drilling and banging above us. Oh yeah the whole building is under construction. They blocked the halls to the beach access so you have to walk through the construction completely around the building to get to the pool or beach. The splash pad they so proudly advertise isn't working or running. The central ac unit is on the balcony so if you wanna sit out there on the very tiny balcony because of said ac unit relax and listen to the ocean you cant unless you turn your air off so it doesnt run because you cannot even hear the person next to you talking when it's on. Dont do dishes if you wanna be quiet the dishwasher door squeels any time you move it. Despite being on what we told was the top floor we always had heavy feet above us and music sounding like a party. We took to leaving the condo to get away from all the noise. The neighbors were constantly smoking weed on their balcony so that's all we smelt when we were out there. The restaurant they have in the condo name is fitting joe smoes. The food was bland and underwhelming. I got the teriyaki chicken and the chicken was not seasoned at all it taste like they just threw a piece of pineapple and teriyaki sauce on it and called it a meal. The little shop in the condo was cute and nice. I would not recommend this condo. For the price we paid we could have gotten a way better condo for less. We've stayed in destin several years in a row at different condos and this was by far the worst. There's no floor 13 for some reason which is stupid. Just because you call it floor 14 doesnt change it's the 13th floor.

My wife and daughter stayed for a girls trip together, and loved it. The pool was under construction so that was a bit of a bummer, but everything else was perfect!!

I liked that the elevator was on the inside and I did not have to go on an outside walkway. I did not feel that I was on the 18th floor.

Our family LOVED the view from the balcony. It’s spacious and fit a family of 6 comfortably. Everybody always had hot water for a shower and the amenities were awesome! We LOVED to hot tub and the heated pool. The little store downstairs was a life saver on many occasions. Will definitely stay here again when we come back! It was a great stay!
