14th Floor Welcoming Condo, On-site restaurant, Multiple pools w/ splash pad

The only good thing about this place was the location and at least the A/C worked. The place was horrible. For starters, ever heard the expression You never get a second chance to make a first impression? So our first impression of the place was the front door to the unit with the ripped up carpet exposing the concrete underneath, a simple $10.00 Welcome Mat from the At Home store could have covered that up. Then you walk into the unit, it smelled of bad air freshener, which I guess was an attempt to make the place appear clean, it was not. The old shag carpets had not been vacuumed, there was clumps of toothpaste from a previous guest in each bathroom sink. I just left them there, it was not my responsibility to clean it up. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower head was old an gross, the baseboards were dirty and there was now hot water for a somewhat decent shower. The tracks in the closet in the one bedroom were rusted out and gross. There was water standing in the dishwasher. The couch appeared to just have been delivered from the Goodwill, it was dirty and ripped up. I was so gross to sit on. The public washer and dryer in the hallway required $5.00 in quarters to operate, but the quarter machine in the lobby was empty, so I had to drive up and down the highway on a Saturday morning looking for quarters. If you are going to make your guest pay to wash their clothes with quarters, please make sure quarters are available, most people do not travel with an abundance of quarters. To top it all off, there is construction on the building that was not disclosed in the listing on VRBO. The jackhammering that started at 8:00 on a Saturday morning, was not what we wanted to wake up too on our vacation. We spent our hard earned money on this unit only to have our short stay in Destin ruined. Everything about this unit was terrible. How can you make it right, issue me some sort of a refund! That's a way to make it right!

Loved the location david the beach chair person was beyond excellant polite and helpful. Front desk people were just ok could use some training in being more friendly but they did the job. We do love the location the cleaniness of sundestin

The view was wonderful.

Great location and ocean views! Nice amenities and professional and friendly staff. Just wish our units couch and bed were updated.

The complex in general is awesome. Condo was perfect for two!
