Guests described 8th Floor Open Condo, On-site restaurant w bar, Multiple pools as a lovely, comfortable stay with a cute, beachy feel and thoughtful furnishings that made it feel well equipped and inviting. The condo was repeatedly praised for being very clean, spotless, and nicely maintained. Its location was appreciated for being close to dining and shopping, with easy beach access that made the stay convenient and relaxing. The ocean views from the balcony stood out most, with guests especially enjoying the beautiful beach scenery, sunrises, sunsets, and even dolphin sightings. Guests also enjoyed the pools, the on-site restaurant and bar, and the convenience of having a store and gift shop on the property. Friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere helped make the overall experience especially enjoyable.

*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing an extensive property modernization project beginning September of 2024. Construction will occur from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including weekends if required. Guest will most likely experience construction noise during these times and other inconveniences. Please be advised that our outdoor amenities will be closed until early Summer of 2025: -Outdoor Hot Tub -Splash Pad The grill and smoking areas will be relocated during the renovation. The indoor pool and gym are available during their regular operating hours. This timeframe coincides with the first two phases of our property renovation, and all dates are subject to change due to weather, labor, or supply chain issues. We apologize for any disruption and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our resort for your future enjoyment. Renovations will continue throughout 2025 and into Spring of 2026. One glimpse of Destin's beaches and you are hooked. This beautifully decorated condominium is a great place to start an annual vacation spot for you and your family. Come and enjoy the vacation you've dreamed of! Our luxurious one bedroom one and a half bath unit located at Sundestin Beach Resort is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The main bedroom offers a king bed and the living room has a queen sofa bed, great for the kids. This unit comes complete with all the amenities you need to enjoy a meal together. Guests will also enjoy the balcony; dine while overlooking the Gulf. There are a TV and DVD player in each room. Come make memories at Sundestin. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing construction to the building. Please expect intermittent noise during construction hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. If construction needs to go past these hours or on the weekends information will be posted a week in advance in the lobby of SunDestin. Construction will be completed by June 2025.

Unit needs some maintenance, but overall we had a good stay. Maintenance issues were not dealbreakers, and the unit was very clean.

The main bathroom's toilet was broken (with a sign). The bathtub / shower does not drain very well and there is a bug problem in there, so you end up bathing with bugs. The couch is very stained. The pull out bed has a good cover on it so that was fine, but very uncomfortable. The balcony view is everything that was promised. You can see the dolphins playing in the water! The kitchen is tight but functional. There was kitchen soap for dishes and the dishwasher, but no shampoo, conditioner, or bodywash so make sure you bring your own. The construction is pretty loud. It starts at 8 AM, we were up and about by then, but something to note. The pools were nice and there is good beach access. Note: Vacasa did offer us a tiny refund for the bathroom being down, but has since ghosted us. Was hoping they would make it right, but that hope diminishes a little more each day.
