Cozy condo with Gulf-front balcony & great views - near shops & dining

Overall, our stay was great! I was a little hesitant after reading some of the previous reviews, but I was hopeful the feedback had been taken into consideration—and it definitely seems like it was. The condo appeared to have been updated and was very enjoyable. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be to replace the mattresses, as they were not very comfortable. I noticed this had been mentioned in previous reviews as well. The only other issue we had was with the TVs in the bedrooms. They powered on, but we couldn't get the remotes to sync, so we weren't able to use them. It wasn't a major inconvenience since we don't watch much TV on vacation, but it would have been nice to have them working on the rainy days to help keep the kids entertained. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying here again

Great view from balcony. Facility was clean and well taken care of. Pool was great. Beach is wonderful, but be prepared to pay for umbrella and chairs. That's an extra $55 per day. Leave your beach umbrella at home.

The laminate floors are gapping. Whoever installed them just slapped them down. The twin bed is falling apart and quite honestly made us nervous to let our children sleep in it. The window (that is a hurricane standard) in that same room was broken. The paint on the walls was scratch and just needs a fresh cost of paint. The carpet was very dirty despite them being cleaned our feet were so dirty after stepping on it. Gave us the total ick. The bathrooms were peeling paint and stained toilet lids. Broken trash can in one. Water stains under all sinks. All outlets were finicky or didn’t work. The threshold transition piece was broken and pinched all of our feet until it was fixed with a new piece that was taped down. One of the chairs at the dining table the seat cushion was not screwed on/ all the screws were missing and fell off and one of our kids was sitting in it and fell through. The screen for the balcony, one was completely missing and the other was bent. We couldn’t sit with the doors open without the screen because bugs were coming in. The balcony was dirty and furniture out dated. The one bathroom a swim suit was left from the previous visitor and there was mold in the back of the door, that just goes to show the effort that was not put in to clean. The kitchen drawers were all jacked up. We attempted to use the oven and it took over and hour to heat up and barely get semi warm chicken nuggets. Should have only taken 20-25mins total. The beds were horrible and our bodies hurt. Tossed and turned all night not getting the rest you should on a vacation. The kind bed headboard looked like it was about to fall over. We were really hoping for a better stay for our first ever family vacation but the condo portion was not enjoyable. While there one condo up and over they were getting new balcony doors/windows so that was not pleasant and constant loud sawing you had to yell over. Someone several floors up was smoking on their balcony and the smell was coming down to ours and I’m sure others. We had to go inside and shut the doors. It’s a non smoking facility mind you. All of these things were reported but the only fix was the transition piece if you call taping it down a fix. Unless they do some major updates stay away.
