WHAT’S NEARBY Sterling Shores is located off Highway 98, just a short walk from several beach dining experiences including the Pancakery and the Back Porch. If you need to fill your fridge or pick up some extra supplies, this complex is just down the road from grocery and big box stores. For refreshing, all-ages fun, race go-karts at the Track, only a mile away, or check out the water slides at Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, two miles up the road. And if you're looking to hit the links, the fabulous Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club, is just a mile north. Please be advised that a roof replacement project is currently underway at Sterling Shores, with an anticipated completion date by the end of September 2026, and a walkway project through December 2026. Construction activity will occur Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the possibility of Sunday work if weather delays are encountered. During morning hours (7:00 AM to approximately noon), guests may experience sawing and scraping noise, most notably in penthouse units. Afternoon work is expected to be considerably quieter. For the floor project, you may deal with noise, dust, and grinding sound.
