Emerald Towers 0203

There is mildew everywhere! On the walls, cushions, curtains, chair, wood slats of the doors! It was not clean when we got there. A couple of partially empty water bottles but still trashy under some furniture. Some sticky brownish residue on the walls with hair in it all over the front bedroom! Some oats in the master bedroom carpet. Dried food on the kitchen counter. Some cups, I’m assuming clean, in the dishwasher. The couch pillow looked like it had been chewed with the inside coming out. It smelled stale and old when we got there. I’m sure from the humidity and mildew. The carpet was disgusting.

Easy access to the pool and beach

We had booked at a different condo through Vacasa, that condo’s pool ended up getting closed for resurfacing. We have a 9 year old and the pool is why we chose that condo, so I emailed and asked for a refund but they offered to move us to a different condo that had a pool, which was very nice of them to do. They sent us two options and we chose Emerald towers 203. They did not charge us anymore for the condo, thank goodness because I did not feel it was worth what we paid. I would have been very upset if I would have had to pay more for Emerald Towers. This condo (203) at Emerald Towers is not kept up well at all. The walls are in desperate need of repairs there are huge chipped places through the condo. Neither one of the Sliding Doors to the balcony would lock and we were on the 2nd floor. I emailed to report it and did receive a quick response and they came the next day and fixed them . There are holes on the entrance door where a lock used to be but is not there anymore. There definitely needs to be a lock put on the door up high where children can’t reach it to unlock it. The dishwasher is crap, it doesn’t clean at all and there was a brown liquid that looked like rust water on the dishes after running it and you Can’t open the dishwasher without opening the oven first. There wasn’t a sink stopper to run water to wash dishes so you have to run dish water in a bowl to wash them. Door on the center of the dresser in master bedroom falls off when opened. Kitchen not fully stocked with cooking supplies. We had to go and buy pans to cook with, there was no skillets or baking pans. Grills at pool area were super nice and clean. The pool area is nice, just needs a hot tub. There is definitely space for one. Dry wall at the bar in front of the bar stools is heavily damaged and has big cuts into the dry wall where the bar stools have been knocked into them. There are multiple places throughout the condo in the walls where there a huge chunks chipped and missing. The ceiling has places that look like water damage and just painted over and the falls. Top shelf in the Refrigerator has water that collects on it that is leaking from somewhere. The top shelf is barely hanging on. You can’t sit heavy items like milk on the left side (if facing the refrigerator) of the shelf because it looked like it was going to fall. Carpet in master bedroom has ripples in it. The mattress on the bed in the master bedroom needs to be replaced really bad, there is a hole in the middle you lay on it and automatically roll to the center of the bed. The second bedroom smells like mildew and dampness. The sofa bed is broken, you have to sleep with the head part pulled up because it’s broken and falls way down, it won’t stay in a neutral position for sleeping. The bathrooms need hooks to hang wet towels or wet clothing on. Whoever is responsible for the up keep of this condo is not very attentive to the updates and repairs that it needs.

We love this property really close to the beach and has everything you need to have a good vacation time
