You may notice some minor construction during your stay; however, it should not interfere with your experience Enjoy the sound of the crashing waves and the ocean views from your private balcony at Sterling Shores Resort and experience the coastal vacation you've been dreaming of! The fully equipped kitchen will make cooking a breeze while the comfortable furnishings will let everyone rest and recharge for your next adventure! Head to one of the swimming pools available and enjoy a poolside snack in the seasonal snack shack. The resort also offers a well-equipped fitness center if you'd like to stay in shape while on vacation, and a community grill area. What’s nearby: With the beach right outside your door and plenty of entertainment and dining options nearby, there is no better location than this! Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park has everything for everyone! Boasting lazy rivers, waterslides, swimming pools, kiddie rides, and more, it's the perfect place to bring your entire family and it's only two miles away! If you're looking for something more relaxed, the Henderson Beach State Park is 0.8 of a mile and there you can hike, enjoy the panoramic views, maybe book a boat tour, etc. Looking to hit the Links? Check out the fabulous Indian Bayou Golf & Country club. Please be advised that a roof replacement project is currently underway at Sterling Shores, with an anticipated completion date by the end of September 2026, and a walkway project through December 2026. Construction activity will occur Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the possibility of Sunday work if weather delays are encountered. During morning hours (7:00 AM to approximately noon), guests may experience sawing and scraping noise, most notably in penthouse units. Afternoon work is expected to be considerably quieter. For the floor project, you may deal with noise, dust, and grinding sound. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as this necessary improvement is completed, and we regret any inconvenience this may cause during your stay.

The property was very nice

We stayed in room 809, which was great. My complaint is not about the room but more on the building. There was maintenance going on the entire time, which started at 8:00 with loud equipment. I almost ran into a lady on a ladder right outside my door who was working on the grout. The fire alarm went off, which is not their fault, but I had to get my 74 year old mother with bad knees down eight flights of stairs. There were mounds dust all over the stairs from where they were working, all their equipment and its hoses and cords were thrown out across the stairs that the workers made no attempt to move. They just stood there and watched as I moved their stuff out of the way so my mother would not trip over them. The guests were not notified that this would be going on. The repairs were not emergent, it was just touch up work. For me, it would make more sense to have these repairs during the slow time of year, not during the busiest. That being said, we will be back because it is a beautiful resort and my family, son included, says it’s their favorite. They just need to do better.

Exactly as described. Condo was very clean, quiet, had quick elevator access. We love the closeness of being to the back porch restaurant. Not overly crowded even in peak season. No issues, we love staying here for our Destin trips.
