Sleek condo at Sterling Shores w shared pool, gym, & ocean views

The property is just steps from the beach and conveniently located near plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions in the Destin area. Overall, I highly recommend the property. My only concern was not being informed about the on-site construction prior to booking. This was meant to be a relaxing vacation, and being awakened each morning by construction noise was not ideal. Aside from that, I had no complaints. I would definitely recommend this place and would consider staying here again in the future.

I loved the view, but the home is old and the bedding and other furniture reflected that which equals poor quality sleep, which no one wants on a vacation. Hopefully this particular unit is an anomaly, but I wouldn't chance it and go back without knowing it has been updated.

Condo was extremely clean and comfortable! Plenty of everything that you need to cook yourself your own meals! Washer, dryer, coffee maker, Plenty of towels, blankets, shampoo and soap, dispensers in bathrooms, and a courtesy box with dish soap, and laundry detergent just to name a few! Couch and chairs and electric recliner where it’s very comfortable! The view from this unit is beautiful looking out over the ocean! And having the back porch restaurant right across the street was an extra plus. We love the security of the place, and even though they were redoing the large pool, we still had the heated pool to enjoy! You will get your moneys worth from this place as staff was extremely accommodating and very helpful and nice!

We have visited Sterling Shores many times, and this unit has been our favorite so far. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Highly recommended!

We were very disappointed with our stay. Shortly after arriving, we noticed mold on the ceilings in our rental. Despite raising the concern, no one addressed it until the day before our departure. At that point, someone came to “inspect,” and when we returned to our room, we were overwhelmed by the strong smell of bleach. We had to air out on the condo and made the space uncomfortable. This was not a pleasant experience, and it was disheartening to see that such a serious matter as black mold was not taken seriously or handled promptly. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this rental based on our experience.
