Bright, Gulf view condo w balcony & shared lagoon pool&gym - steps to beach

First visit and already looking at future dates to book again. Loved it!

I reported multiple issues with Vacasa for Sterling Shores #815 on August 3, 2025—including a leaking master bathroom sink, a malfunctioning toilet, and a completely nonworking washer machine. Nothing was fixed during our stay. We paid five-star prices and received zero-star customer service. Hopefully everything will be fixed before the next guest. Things we enjoyed: the beds were very comfortable, loved both pools, and the balcony offered a fantastic view of the Gulf.

I received an email 1.5 months before my stay that said there would be exterior painting happening durning my stay but no work would be starting until after 9am. Then I got an email one month before my stay, and exactly 1 hour and 3 minutes after the cancellation/refund expired, stating that there would be major construction happening during my stay rather than in October like the first email said. The construction woke me up everyday at 7:30 am. I also got a text the day before arrival that said the washing machine wasn’t working in the unit. With four kids, that turned into an issue. The owner didn’t want to replace the whole washer, so a picture of the broken part was taken. No further action was taken. I’d stay away from unit 815 in sterling shores and any property that Vacasa manages.

The home had everything we needed. We stay at Sterling Shores every year. There’s a candy store and ice cream shop within walking distance, the pool is great, and the Back Porch is also within walking distance. Will be back again in a year.

Loved the view and the home was awesome.

Cons - Bedrooms are very very small. There is literally nowhere to set your luggage. No charger space in smaller bedroom. This would be suitable for 2 adults and a kid maybe. Master bedroom was just enough room for king sized bed, no space at all for me to put my suitcase. Dresser is so close to end of bed it’s hard to even get into the dresser. Patio furniture was rusty and I was afraid my toddler was going to cut himself on a rusty edge getting up onto a chair. Elevators were slow. They give you 2 tiny rolls of toilet paper for the entire stay. So go buy some. No bedding for pull out sofa. Plus - pool was great at Sterling shores. View from balcony was wonderful. Air conditioning was good.
