Gulf-front condo with balcony, water views, pools, hot tub & beach access

Very nice kitchen

The condo was beautiful but the furniture is in need of replacing. I read reviews stating the bed was horrible and couch was dirty before booking. The reviews were two years old and I figured they would be replaced by now, but I guess not. The couch was horribly dirty! We pulled out the bed and the mattress was stained as well. We were only given two sheets for the pull out, and both were used to lay on top of it because they were so badly dirty. The bed in the master was the absolute worst thing I’ve ever slept on. It feels like sleeping on a box spring. The resort beach loungers are far more comfortable. Various decor items are broken, hole in the wall behind the bedroom door, ceiling popcorn falling in the shower, etc. The keurig is broken in the kitchen, pours hot water everywhere. Both toilets run constantly. The hall toilet overflowed, we had to use all the bath towels to clean the water up. The shutter blinds in the bedroom are broken and you can see into the bedroom from the hallway outside of the room. The TV didn’t work on the first day. We reached out immediately with the obvious issues and the front desk staff explained they don’t have anything to do with the Vacasa rentals and we needed to reach out to Vacasa or the owner. We did that only because we did’t want to be charged for any damages. Maintenance was sent in, only for the TV. We waited hours before anyone showed up. The view was stunning, the resort was nice, the four elevators were a life saver! The pools and hot tub close at sunset. We were told ten, but they told us due to inadequate lighting by the heated pool they close at sunset. I’m pretty sure we used every amenity Pelican had, except the cafe and it was great. The steam and sauna rooms were very small but we were only ever in them with each other.

The view is AMAZING!! Great rental, highly recommended.

Everything was exactly what we needed, from the balcony to the bedroom.

You can hear the ocean and sea life from the condo.
