Spacious, waterfront condo with gulf views, shared pools, & fitness room

We had a wonderful stay. The view was incredible and the property was beautiful!

Great location to the beach, with private bathrooms. Pool was great with the zero entrance with young kids. We spent every day at the beach mostly but did go to pool for a little bit each day. The condo is good if you don’t plan to be in it most the day. We found the evenings we were on top of each other with the seating available to watch TV. The king bed is not too comfortable. The bunk beds seemed fine for the kids. A lot of pillows, towels for bathrooms provided. This was great after going to beach daily to have enough towels. The beds have a light sham on top so if you need a warmer blanket, recommend bringing one. However note, the property can only be at 72 degrees if you want cooler this is not the condo for you. Kitchen has basic appliances. We did have to buy coffee filters, and seasonings for meals which is fine. The condo provides 1 roll of paper towels, 2 trash bags, 1 packet of laundry detergent, 2 dish detergent packs, a sponge and a small dish soap bottle. Also in each bathroom they provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner and 2 rolls of toilet paper (4 total). Overall we enjoyed our trip and the location, we just wished the beds, and more comfortable seating at night for a movie night after beach/pool.

This review is not a reflection of Vacasa's staff. They were great throughout our stay, doing what they could to help. They provided a blow-up mattress and fairly compensated us for the room, and we truly appreciated their efforts. We have stayed at Sterling Shores every summer for the last five to six years and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this visit left us disappointed. The condition of the unit did not match the photos in the listing and fell short of our expectations. The top bunk bed was unsafe. The safety rail and ladder were barely attached and unstable. The overall condition of the unit showed significant wear and tear. There were cracks and splitting in the sheetrock, incomplete patchwork on the walls, and visible ceiling stains above the microwave. The microwave itself had a crack across the front. The sofa was covered with a thin slipcover that was torn and dirty, with hair and debris on it. It did not feel clean or comfortable to sit on. One issue we initially overlooked but feel is important to mention is the shower setup. To use the shower, you must step into a deep spa tub. This presents a real safety hazard for children and older adults, as there are no grab bars or support handles to help enter or exit the wet tub. The tub was also so worn out that my wife refused to use it without wearing sandals. We cannot recommend this unit until these safety and maintenance issues are addressed. While the Vacasa staff did their best and were helpful, the condition of this unit did not meet the standards we have come to expect from Sterling Shores.

Views were amazing we got to see dolphins from our balcony. The pool was very nice!

It was clean and nicely decorated!

We stayed at Sterling Shores it was great. Easy access to the beach, The Back Porch restaurant was within walking distance and we loved that there was an ice cream place right next door.
