Stained towels and bedding. Fleas in master bed. Aside from this everything was pretty clean

This house is very clean, quiet, and in a nice location on Dauphin Island where you are centrally located and can easily get from one side of the island to the other. It has nice appliances, washer and dryer, two very nice bathrooms, refrigerator was not set to proper temp so check that upon arrival, but cooled down once set to safe temperature, and a/c worked great! Here are some things that could be done to improve the property for future guests. The home lacks pillows. There are eight provided and they are pretty thin. There are no extra blankets. Toilet, paper towels, trash bags, laundry and dish soap are all very limited so pack extra. They provide one pack of laundry soap which is enough to start the load of sheets on the last day. There are literally two glasses in the whole place, so pack some cups. There are coffee cups, a coffee maker (regular ground with filter), blender, toaster, can opener, wine bottle opener. Pots and skillets are lacking. If you have a big family, then good luck unless you plan to eat out most of the time. There were cookie sheets, muffin pans, and even a cake pan and pizza pan. You have to drive back across the bridge to go to the Dollar General or a reasonably priced grocery store so it would be nice for the house to be better stocked. We stayed five nights with four people and ran out of trash bags, laundry soap, etc. Not a huge deal but inconvenient. Hopefully, items are added the longer this place is used as a rental, because it is a very nice place and the small town vibes of the island were great. Overall, I’d rent the place again and highly recommend it, just plan ahead and pack extra things to save yourself some trips to the store while you’re on vacation. Enjoy the island! This is a great place overall.

This house is located 1/4 mile from middle beach. It is very close to restaurants. Great layout for the average family.
