The house itself was as expected. Beautiful views, clean etc. The couch could use to be replaced. Management however I feel dropped the ball. One of the main reasons I chose this house was that it had gates at the steps to help keep the dogs on the deck. When we got there the gate on the one side was broken off. I alerted management that night. Two days later it still was not fixed. We were able to make it work but never trusted it. Alerted management again and also requested a vacuum as there was not one in the house. They said they would have to order the vacuum which obviously did not get there before we had to leave. Would it not have made sense just to go to the store and buy one? A big apology to the cleaning people for all the sand in the house. We did the best we could with what we had to work with. So the gate finally got fixed (so to speak-they just put screws into the rotted wood) afternoon of our last day of a weeks long vacation. I would think that management would have checked to make sure everything was good before people get into the house. Attention to detail is very important.

9 of us stayed in this house, it was very nice. Loved how close it was to the water and how it accommodated all of us. Definitely planning on staying here again.

This house has one thing going for it. It’s about 20’ from the Gulf of America! Other than that, there are no redeeming qualities. Any other place on Dauphin Island would be better. The owner’s have made the LEAST amount of effort possible to have a vacation rental. Furnishings, decor, amenities, cleaning, maintenance all need more effort. All the bad reviews are accurate.

Beautiful views, gorgeous wood deck all around the house with gates that close at each staircase, which is perfect for children and dogs to keep them safe! Very clean with everything you need.

The location was great and the house was clean. There were some things that could use improvement. With some attention by the owners the house and experience would have been better.
