Coastal condo just steps from the beach w shared pool, BBQ area, WiFi, AC, W&D

It was fine. Our original unit through Vacasa ended up with property damage, so before our arrival day Vacasa contacted us and provided us with a quick resolution to find a new unit to stay without impacting our trip. So while this unit wasn't our original selection, it was fine for a quick turnaround.

I booked this condo for a mother, daughter mini vacation. It was close to restaurants & shopping and a quick walk to the beach. It was clean, and the shower pressure was great in both bathrooms. The beds were comfortable & the overall vibe was cozy. In unit washer & dryer was very convenient to do a quick load of laundry.

The condo is very outdated, wasn’t very clean, and the furniture is outdated. That I could have lived with until our last day there, we experienced a horrible smell of exhaust/gas smell in the condo coming from it seemed the kitchen. I contacted the 800# and they had notify the “local team” and I’d receive a call. 5 1/2 hours later I had not received any response and the condo had such a strong smell we couldn’t go in. The neighbors could smell it passing by as we sat in the hallway. I finally requested a supervisor to the 800# and after speaking to the supervisor she advised she’d be calling around to the local area and team. Someone from Vacasa showed up and could smell it. She wasn’t sure what the smell was either. She said if I feel my children aren’t safe with the unknown smell, she’d stay somewhere else too. She said she would be contacting the property manager and I’d hear back. My husband went and got a hotel with our children and I stayed back since the lady who came by says someone would be by. No one came by! Then I received a message on this app saying it smelled like bug spray and sunscreen!! Like what?!?! We didn’t even have bug spray. The lady lied and told them she smelt nothing and there was no need for us to go get a hotel.

We booked on a whim to attend a concert at the Wharf and we were very happy with the property. The beds were comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. We had plenty of space and were able to make ourselves at home. Beach access was convenient. Only complaint was there were multiple locks at the front door and we weren’t entirely sure which one to use. But a quick text and we were inside.
