Our family of six had an okay stay here. The condo has a lot of positives — the view was absolutely beautiful, the balcony furniture was great, and the overall amenities were very nice. The updated floors and bathrooms were a plus, and it’s clear the condo has a lot of potential. However, the pull-out sofa wasn’t usable for sleeping, and cleanliness could be improved as some dishes and furniture needed more attention. We were told that new furniture is on the way, which should make a big difference for future guests. With a few updates and better attention to detail, this could be a really wonderful place to stay. The view and location alone make it worth considering once improvements are complete.

We had great time! I seen some places that looked like there had been previous water damage (the only reason I didn't give 5 stars) but everything else was clean and tidy. We had a spectacular view of all of the pools and ocean from our balcony. We are planning a longer trip with the family in the spring and we will definitely look into staying here again.

Gave this unit 2 stars. The newer shower, bathroom sink and kitchen appliances saved it from being one star. The ceiling fan in the main area didn’t work, stains on couch and reclining chair. Kitchen cabinets are old, paint chipping badly and utensils, pots and pans subpar. Primary bed did not have bed bug encasement, sheets were paper thin and the beds were uncomfortable, especially in second bedroom. The overall feeling of this unit is that although some things are updated, there are too many other areas that make it feel unclean and uncomfortable. This is the first unit in the several times we have stayed at Gulf Shores Plantation that we wished we could have relocated the moment we entered the unit. We love staying at Gulf Shores Plantation, the view of the ocean and all the other amenities. We will definitely avoid this unit for future stays. Side note, Vacasa was able to get us half our cleaning deposit back. Would have preferred the entire amount especially since we had to buy a mattress protector and sheets.
