Dog-friendly home with water views & private heated pool

Overall, we loved this home! The view was beautiful and the location was perfect. However, we were disappointed by the lack of basic household supplies provided. For a four-night minimum stay, we expected more than just two dishwasher pods, two rolls of paper towels, two laundry detergent pods, and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. I have noticed that minimal supplies are sometimes standard with Vacasa-managed homes, but it's still frustrating especially considering the cost of the stay and the expectations that come with a longer booking. Thankfully, we had a car and were able to make the 20-minute drive to pick up additional items, but it’s not ideal when you're trying to settle in and enjoy your vacation. We’re open to staying here again because the home itself was great, but we strongly feel this kind of supply policy should be communicated clearly in advance something as simple as “bring your own toilet paper” would have helped us prepare better.

We had a wonderful time at Pawprints in the Sand! We did not want for anything. The house was fully equipped, more beautiful than the pictures, very clean and welcoming. We had plenty of towels and lots of kitchen equipment for all our meals. The extra ice maker was a nice touch. The pool was perfect and heated since we were there in October! Cannot beat the view! Just wonderful!

We loved our first stay at Dauphin Island. It was so laid back and welcoming. We enjoyed our pool at “Pawprints in the Sand”. The home was equipped with all amenities, and was a short drive to restaurants and gift shops in the area. The sunrises🌅/sunsets 🌄 were amazing!

This house on the bay was amazing(directly across from the ocean with easy access and 10 houses away from public beach in addition). Tons of kitchen tools including a coffee pot that is combo Kerug and traditional coffee pot). We loved the large deck and pool.

We had the best vacation at this house. It was dog friendly and we took both of our dogs. Very private place. It had everything we needed such as fans and a huge ice machine. The pool was perfect for the kids. This was our first trip to Dauphin island and we will definitely be going back. ❤️🐾🏖️

Loved the layout and especially the pool! We were there for a family reunion and this was one of three houses our family rented. I think ours was the nicest. I am just glad we brought spices with us, although we didn't realize we needed salt & pepper too. The beds were all comfy. The open space made it easy for our group. The table was big enough to spread out all of the 2,000 piece jigsaw puzzle my daughter brought with her. I hope it is available the next time we come to Dauphin Island.
