Everything else we loved!
I loved the cleanliness of the unit. Everything was easy that made everything good because it was simple to check in. Location was awesome and the staff was friendly and everything was easy.
We loved the vicinity to the beach and shopping, a nice little pool. The building is nice, the parking lot, landscaping etc. The unit we stayed in needs a little TLC and the listing updated to reflect the current furniture/décor. Also - it wasn't explained until after we booked - you are only allowed 2 vehicles per unit and you have to buy a parking pass for each vehicle - nothing is included in your rental agreement, and according to the customer service person the HOA sets the rate and they change it regularly. According to the website you need a "parking pass", there is no pass - you just tell them your license plate number, state, vehicle description and they won't tow your car. (none of this was communicated anywhere).
I kept getting bit by something, I'm pretty sure in the bed. Please check you mattress in the bed rm:104. Also fridge didn't stay too cold at all, freezer was fine though. Other than that it was clean and a pleasure staying.... Oh yeah also include ur parking in the total pricing instead of throwing that in after the fact. Thanks
Broken everything holes in the wall. Light hanging out of the ceiling. When questions assistance they say it’s my fault and I should have said things earlier??? Really you rented this place for $259 a night and renting it in this condition. Horrible customer service also
You get what you pay for. This unit is very tired and worn out. Any one deficiency by itself is not a big deal but when you add them all up, it makes the entire unit feel junky. So here it is: The furniture is old and worn out and my guess is that it was acquired at Salvation Army. (my kids didn't want to sit on it without putting towels down first) There are no shelves in the pantry in the kitchen. (we couldn't put away our groceries anywhere.) There is peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling. One of the kitchen cabinet doors is an unpainted replacement door that doesn't match the rest of the white cabinetry. The tracks on two of the dresser drawers in the bedroom was broken, rendering the drawers useless. The laundry bifold door was off its track. There were holes in the bathroom wall where an old towel bar was anchored and never filled when the new towel bar was installed. There was no wifi. (seriously, in this day and age?) The walls of the bunk bed area were so filthy that my daughter refused to sleep there. These are all pretty low cost repairs and improvements that could dramatically improve the overall guest experience. As far as the building itself, it is on the other side of the highway from the beach. Now, I knew that, but I didn't realize crossing the 4 lane highway to get to the beach would be so harrowing. I just assumed it would be a little more pedestrian friendly. There is an intersection nearby with a pedestrian crossing that was broken when we were there. We waited 15 minutes for a "walk" sign that never came. We had to wait for gaps in the traffic going 50mph to cross a 4 lane highway with 3 little kids. And there was no pedestrian pathway from the building to the intersection. We literally walked down the shoulder of the highway to get to the crossing.
