Beach access was the best part of our stay
The apartment was clean and tidy. The bedrooms were nice. The beds were very comfortable. Furniture in the living room was a little dated, but not bad. The dining table I was afraid to use. The legs were wobbly, and I was afraid that something would fall off the table. They disposal in the sink I didn’t use. I always check it when I first get to the condo and it had a very loud rattling noise. It took me four days to figure out how to find the hot water in the shower. When I first got there, the elevator didn’t work. I carried my luggage up six flights of steps and that ruined my first two days there. I’m 66 and my back is not the best in the world. I had a very hard time getting out of bed the next two days. I called and within a round an hour they came out and reset the elevator. It worked for about an hour and then quit again. In two or three days they did get the elevator working for the rest of our stay. I talked to an owner on the elevator and they said they were scheduled to replace it in the fall. Good luck to all you people coming for the summer. Since I read about the elevator and some of the reviews, I did call and check in February and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. Trust me, it is a problem. When they did get the elevator finally working it was so loud that the artwork in my daughter‘s bedroom would rattle. I went to sit in one of the chairs on the deck, and I wound up on the deck. It was rusted to the point of falling apart. In their defense, there were four chairs and the other three survived. I did have a hard time getting up off the deck, though. All in all, I am extremely disappointed. I will not go back to this place again. And I don’t recommend it. They were having an owner’s meeting towards the end of the week when I was there, and some of the owners brought their dogs. Guess what I had to listen to almost all night the last two or three nights we were there.
Condo had everything we needed. Furniture was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, views and balcony were awesome. Hated to leave, just couldn't handle having an elevator that wouldn't work consistently. Espsecially being on the 6th floor. They really should have let us know as my husband recently had heart surgery. Very disappointing. Would love to stay again if elevator was fixed.
