Hotel condo features beach access, shared pool - near town

When booking our stay in Fort Morgan I was well aware that the weather at the end of February could be hit or miss. With so many lodging options to choose from in the Gulf Shores area our family of five booked this condo at Plantation East specifically because of the indoor swimming pool. Sure enough, there were several days of cold and rainy weather. So the very first morning we got into our swimsuits and hurried to the indoor pool only to find that it was closed for maintenance. Our three small children were absolutely heartbroken. We received no notification ahead of time that the indoor pool would be closed all week. If we had of been notified in advance we could have made different arrangements. To make matters even worse, we reached out to Vacasa and the management at Plantation East multiple times to make it right and no one did anything to help us. We paid for a condo with an indoor pool and we did not receive what we paid for. Needless to say, it was a terrible experience for our entire family.

We just returned from a week's stay at "Our Happy Place" And I cannot rave enough about how perfect it was. The condo has all the amenities you could ask for, excellent views, and just steps from the beach and pools. There are so many little extra touches and the decor is so beautiful! Everything was so clean and in perfect condition when we arrived. This was actually our second stay here as we have fallen in love with it. You will definitely find everything well maintained and appreciate all the thought put into making your stay a wonderful experience!

The room was great! Beautifully decorated, clean, spacious. Had a lot of appliances and everything worked good. Good view, good shower pressure, and comfy bed

Coming from Kansas, my friends and I planned a much needed girls trip to the beach. We wanted to enjoy each other’s company and still have some comforts of home, too. This place was perfect and it was such a lovely condo. We had everything we needed. The balcony was my favorite place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning. The view was so peaceful and sometimes we saw dolphins swim by. We enjoyed the resort’s beautiful private beach and the adult only pool. We only wished we could stay longer. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Such a well decorated and comfortable condo. Have a very relaxing long weekend. The location is amazing with everything you need/want right there.
