Large beachfront home with pool, deck & AC - wedding-friendly

Every bedroom has their own bath. Great location. Amazing view. Super clean. Shockingly gorgeous view! Honestly, this was a really great home for lots of types of trips. Great trip to OBA!

Thank you again for the opportunity to stay at this beautiful property. The stunning views and spacious layout were ideal for our family reunion and memorial. While the offer for housekeeping to return and reclean the property was thoughtful, it was unnecessary since we had already checked in and unpacked. During our stay, we encountered several issues: - The house had a strong bleach smell upon our arrival around 4 pm, which we had to ventilate by opening windows and doors, causing headaches for most of us. - Many pillowcases were turned inside out, raising concerns about cleanliness, prompting us to rewash the sheets and towels. - The cookware was dirty and needed washing. - All the handrails were sticky and filthy. - The floors were sticky, as if not rinsed properly. - The sofas on the main floor were dirty, with trash under the cushions and on the couches. - The toaster malfunctioned, only popping up toast when unplugged. - No hairdryer was available. - The ironing board was broken and could not stand. - The second-floor sink drained poorly. - The fire pit was broken and unusable. - Wi-Fi was very slow, even after a technician's visit. - The fan in the upper bathroom off the hallway was not working. - For the number of guests the house accommodates, there were not enough dishes, forcing us to wash after each meal. While we understand that protocol may require reporting every issue we encountered, it interfered with our family time. Given these issues, we are requesting a credit to compensate for the inconveniences experienced. We feel that $830 would be a fair amount for the numerous issues. This house has potential. It is plenty big for big groups and liked having the refrigerator and living space on each level. It just need some TLC. I had to fix the deadbolt on the back door to get it to lock properly. 2 toilets had to be repaired upon arrival which maintenance came quickly for and solved. A couple shower doors were rusty and off track where they wouldn’t hardly push to open. Dishwasher was throwing a “failure to drain” code that took 3 tries of getting someone to come fix until they finally did. I was told on day 2 of trying to get it fixed that it was marked urgent and high priority. No one showed up the next day so called again and was told it was NOT marked urgent so they would this time and a manager would be there the next day and call on their way so we could discuss any other issues we had with her. We were out of the house and were not notified, so maintenance entered without notice which we did not appreciate and we didn’t get to address anything with the manager like we were told. A couple of the upper floor door locks weren’t operational. The first floor bedroom tv will turn on, but freezes after trying to select anything. It’s not mandatory to have, but there were zero chairs, umbrellas, toys etc for the beach. There were just a lot of minor issues for a place so expensive to rent. Like I said, plenty of potential. It just needs normal updating and could stock some beach accessories.

Plenty of space for a Big Family like ours 12 Adults & 6 Grandkids ages 2 to 10 !! Clean , plenty of cooking utensils , AC worked Great !! Large Kitchen Dining table & chairs at the bar was perfect !! This is our 3rd year in a row @ Nordic Villas and we will be back next year !!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house had more than enough room and the beds were extremely comfortable. The only thing I would request is all the burners on the oven didnt work, and the beds thin blankets on them so you tend to get a little chilly. Also there is not a kuerig listed on the house but it does have one for all the coffee lovers.

We spent our annual family vacation here and it quickly became our favorite vacation we’ve ever taken. From the breath taking sunrises, convenience of pool/beach access, safe gated property, multi-level living spaces, and some of the softest sand and warmest waters … we could not have asked for more.
