Loved the location and unit so much we are in for next year!
This condo was well furnished and had all our needs covered. It was very clean amd well maintained.
This is the second time we have rented this 8th floor corner unit; a year in the reserving, paying for, and anticipating our snowbird month of January in OBA. Two years ago (2024), the pool/hot tub/exercise building closed with no warning, due to roof replacement for the last two weeks of our stay. A compensation was mentioned by Vacasa, but never received anything. This January (2026), we arrived only to have the entire entry jackhammered and torn up, ricocheting throughout the entire building a day later. (My husband was working from this condo, doing his live weekday radio show.) After days of jackhammering (8:30-2:30), blowing of dust and spraying down, walking over plywood planks, and taped off main sections, the complete area sat for over ten days, waiting for concrete. Soon after, while on the air right above my husband's makeshift studio, was now another electric drill of some sort, only now they were repairing the "entire 9th floor" balconies all week. ZERO COMMUNICATION from the HOA to owners or renters (according to Vacasa) that any of this construction was scheduled in January!! The entire first half of our month stay was full of noise, stress, dirt, debris and more! Between Kendra, Hope and Rebecca of Vacasa, they were able to have us move to another quieter building. Although it was not a corner unit and less of a rental, they also approved some compensation for all the inconvenience (this meant us packing up and loading everything including my husband's equipment to unload and re set up, going around the construction zone) . It's too bad the owner could not have made it right by offering half our $6000+ back or extending two free weeks for another stay. The HOA needs to improve on communication when people like us, work hard to make money to afford to come down south; looking forward to some rest and sun while working. It's unacceptable.
The location was lovely and the beds so very comfortable. Even the twin beds, which sometimes are not the best were nice. The balcony was extra nice and we love the table and chairs and the lounge chairs out there. Very spacious.
The unit was exactly as described. Would definitely stay again.
Close to stores and restaurants. Corner unit offers great views. Master bed was extremely comfortable. Security guys were very friendly.
