Gulf-Front Condo with Balcony Overlooking the Beach, AC, WiFi & Shared Pools

It was on the beach. Liked the baby soaps.

Came down for a fri-Wednesday. There is zero property oversight on the weekends. The parking lot was a free for all to anyone. When I called about the amount of cars parked without passes, I was told to do the best I can and if need be park and monitor so it doesn’t get towed, and in the chance that it does, go ahead and pay it and try to claim back from Vicasa. Cause that’s what I want to hear on my one vacation a year. Weekend parking is a nightmare. If you leave, chances are you won’t have a spot when you get back even with a pass. I counted over 15 cars at one point without a pass and local oversight would do nothing. Condo itself was as advertised, but will never be back and due to the lack of concern for the issues on our stay, I’ll gladly tell others to avoid. Sad part is, I lived in OBA for quite some time years ago. I know the issues that rental companies have. I good friend of mine manages a bunch down there, but the dismissiveness is not okay whatsoever.

We enjoyed our stay for many reasons. We loved the proximity to the beach. The view of the ocean from our living room was amazing, and the beach was not over crowded at this location due to the lack of overcrowding with condos at this point on the beach. However, the parking lot was a mess. Many times we could not find a parking spot because it was overcrowded. Some families drove 3 or 4 vehicles, and that took up the available parking. Something could be done to improve upon this situation.

Loved the view! Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to watch the water and the people on the beach. The condo was nice but needs much love. However, the whole building needed some attention. The elevators were kind of scary - bounced around a lot. Although, we did see several people working - keeping the pool clean and making sure the elevator area was as clean as possible. So that was nice to see. All in all - it is just an older building and an older condo that needs some maintenance and care. But we were grateful to have a nice clean bed to sleep in and a spot to drink our coffee and watch the water in the morning! So thank you!

This condo is perfect for a couple on a beach vacation! It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and was very conveniently located near everything, yet was slightly out of the way. We will be booking again for next year.
