Just East of Perdido Pass, next to quiet, undeveloped, open beach spaces, and only seconds away from the infamous Flora-Bama, sits the beautiful Wind Drift complex. 512S has a spacious floor plan, side by side washer/dryer, WIFI, sleek furnishings, with modern color schemes and decor, LCD cable TV's with DVD in all 3 bedrooms & total of 2 1/2 baths. The fee of $30 is paid at the onsite association located on the north side of the street.

This condo was spacious. It easily held 6 adults with room for everyone and their things. The view inside and outside was impressive! Pull back the straps for a panoramic view of the gulf and the bay! An older complex, but clean. Elevators were practically new. Small pool, but exactly what we wanted.

BEST LOCATION IN ORANGE BEACH not a wrap around balcony, but it does have a sliding glass door on the side of the unit, and a floor length window beside it so you can see the bay and the bridge crossing over going toward Gulf Shores. As for the unit, NOT GOOD. We had 2 ladies in our group that have asema,, both are on medication / inhalers, and in the master bath we seen what looked to us to be MOLD, (NOT GOOD).The balcony could use a good cleaning, The carpets are past the point of shampooing, the guest bath does not drain good at all. There was sand all in the floors. Check in was at 4:00, but it was after 6:00 when we finally got in, because the gate code did not work, and (we were not the only ones having this problem.) We paid 62.50 for a parking pass to hang on our rear view mirror to park at this condominium, and at times there was no parking available, but there was plenty of car's in the lot that did not have a parking pass visible to be seen anywhere in the windshield, again, (NOT THE ONLY ONES HAVING THIS PROBLEM. This is the first time I have used VACASA and it was also the first time I have had any problems, and believe you me, WE HAD OUR SHARE. I hate I have given you this bad news, but I think when someone pays for a vacation to rest, relax, and enjoy, They should be able to do so.

Nice condo, was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We did have an issue with the lock on the door, but it was handled very promptly.
