Loved the location! Easy to access and so peaceful. The hot tub was fun and we liked being able to access both the ocean and the sound from the house. The dishwasher is a bit rickety, but it works. The kitchen was well equipped and the place was clean. We had plenty of towels and I brought a bottle of my laundry soap, so we were able to keep up with dirty towels and clothes throughout our stay.

The location is great, west end beach 3/4 mile walk, beach is directly across the street. Really enjoyed the hot tub, too. Jennifer was great helping us get an item we left.

We liked the location, view, and size. We disliked everything else. The A/C repair serviceman told us Vacasa is the worst on the island. They have severely neglected this property. The A/C wasn’t working when we arrived and no one came To service it until the day before we checked out. The refrigerator and dishwasher were also not working properly. If Vacasa was tending to the property, THESE THINGS SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTICED AND ADDRESSED BY STAFF PRIOR TO OUR STAY! It was 80 degrees inside when we checked in! If I were the owner of this property, I would be horrified by the neglect and FIRE VACASA IMMEDIATELY.

Great location with both beach, park, and bay access. The kids really liked the spa. The layout was typical of the other beach houses. I cannot recommend this particular unit due to the rampant ant problem in the kitchen, exposed electrical wiring within reach outside the house and the sand layer in the spa (this indicates that the spa is not cleaned between guests). Dauphin Island is a great vacation place and our family and kids completely enjoyed the beach and bay.

The view on sound side of the property is magnificent! The home is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to prep and prepare meals. We grilled most evenings. The king bed was comfortable and we slept well. We enjoyed being able to launch our paddle board and kayak from the sound. It’s a short easy walk. We will return.

This is home is absolutely gorgeous. The view is amazing. It is in need of cosmetic repairs. However the home is so pretty. Location is nice.
